Molar and Partial Molar Pregnancy Support Group

Yes! I can do one day a week at home (i've asked mainly to do weds but it can change if i need to go in for a meeting or some, thing) very happy about it! Should make things easier i think.

Holidays are so expensive arn't they! Sounds like you got a good deal for next year.

What does chris do? My kris used to be self employed (he was a home it support technician). He is employed by a company now but miss the flexibility of being self employed.

Glad your new midwives are good. Mine was lovely too. I used to go every week after 24 weeks. Must have driven her mad :haha:

Xx

Hi ladies :)

Becky - spa day sounds amazing! So nice to be pampered!! Hopefully the specialist helps Marcy, tonsillitis is the worst! Yay not long left of work!

Laura- that onesie is so cute! I wonder if I can get something like that over here!

Lotte - that's great Ella loves the water! I hope I have water babies, I'm sure I will as we have a pool so I'm sure they I'll spend all summer in there :)

Afm - I'm 10 weeks today woohoo double digits!
We went away for the weekend as DH races Bmx and had a race a few hours away so we decided to stay the night which was really nice :) felt like a mini holiday hehe only thing was it poured with rain all day Sunday so spend the day sitting under a tent in the cold trying to watch him ride......didn't let it ruin the weekend though :)

Yes holidays are expensive! I went to Ibiza 5 years ago so u need some holiday sun. Another reason is Corban will start school next sept so wanna make the most of a holiday abroad being as cheap as possible.

Chris is an electrician. Being self employed so far has been so much better!

I'm sure the midwife understood why you went every week honey!

Jess happy 10 weeks! Mega yay for double digits! Woooo! Sounds like a good weekend and even better the weather didn't spoil it.

Any news from Dano?

I must have hit unsubscribe by mistake again, no wonder the thread didn't pop up :haha: :dohh:

Dano, Have you got the next result back from Charing cross? How are you feeling?

Congratulations on double digits Jess! Sounds like a nice weekend away. Not long until your next scan now:)

Lotte, I'm 33 weeks tomorrow (or Friday if go by last cycle). My doc has adjusted it a few days to fall on her hospital induction day :) so either 27/29 Aug :)

So glad you got your day to work at home xx

I hope not! With Marcy I was booked in to be induced at 38 weeks as blood pressure was going high and I had heaps of swelling around my face. I think she has adjusted it a little so if we need tobe booked in she has a few days to play with and the local hospital is funny about inductions before 38 weeks. If bubs doesn't turn in the next 2 weeks though it is likely to be a section and around 37 since I had Marcy at 37+2. Hoping its not too much longer. I will be walking up the stairs to the local tower and look out until I go into labour if still pregnant at 38 weeks!

Do you think you'll go early this time?

Turn bubs turn! Are you ok with a section if that's the case? I can't help but think I'll be late again as the other two were! They do say the third is a wild card so could be early but I doubt it!!!!!

Xxx

Jackyb, doing my charing cross box tomorrow, results Friday afternoon or monday if they double check it, but I think it's all fine this time. I'll have an early scan at some point when I get round to it. I'd quite like to wait until 10w, but if I go at 8 I could have two... Decisions decisions lol!

Hope that naughty baby turns soon! You might be ok with the blood pressure this time, how is it now? I went puffy and got late onset high bp/PE with ds1 and had to be medicated and induced, but with ds2 my blood pressure was perfect and still 110/75 about 4 minutes before I delivered him lol!

Oh wow sounds like you did very well second time round! With Marcy it went from super low (was wearing compression tights to stay passing out and have feeling in my feet) to top end of normal within a couple of days. I had started to get PE too so my doc just booked me for induction. This time its been normal low. I notice its creeping up again so will be interesting to see what its like next appointment. Have high bp issues in my family. Not worried though as they don't mess around.

I think I'm ok with a section. It makes it easier having a date to sort out our plan for Marcy. My main priority is having a safe delivery and healthy bubs and if it is decided that its a section then I'm ok with that. I so hope you don't go over! Maybe on your date this time?

Good luck tomorrow with sample. I will be thinking of you Dano. And good luck on the scan decision. Ultimately its up to you. If you want to wait til 10 weeks, could you just be unavailable until that week for it?

Hi ladies,
Sorry been way too much absent; but Ekin turned out to be a high-needs baby! She wants to nurse most of the day, or held and will mostly sleep in my arms. Even if I can manage to place her in the bouncer after she falls asleep, she'll need to be bounced all through her sleep! I must admit I'm waiting for her to turn 3 months, as everyone says that's when things will start to get easier!
Good thing is, she had her 2-month check-up on Monday and it seems she makes good use of all the milk she's getting :). She's already 60 cm and 6 kg! But today she'll be having vaccines (3 of them) and I'm afraid she'll get sick. Last time she was OK-ish but she cried so much, it broke my heart to pieces :(

Jacky, M2C - Not too long now! Can't believe how fast time is passing...

JBaby, Dano - You'll be counting down in no time, I'm sure!

Sorry can't write much longer. Boobie duty calling

Dano hopefully your results are good. Your hpts look good. I think I'd go at 8 weeks and then onto the normal 12 weeks just so it broke my wait up. Have you told hubby?

Becky as long as you and bubs are ok and safe that's the main thing. I would wanna avoid a section at all costs but in some situations it's best to go that way. What are your plans for Marcy? My mum will come here so if I have a homebirth she's here for the kiddies or if I need to go to the hospital in an emergency she's here. Or if I decide to go midwife led again she'll come and have them. Thing is this bubba needs to be early, on time or late late! Need to avoid corbans birthday!!!! Eek!

Ece lovely to hear from you! Sounds like she's doing great. As for wanting mummy all the time that will ease so I say make the most of it! Hehe. Sorry she has her jabs there never easy to watch. Hope she's ok after them.

Xxx

Ece, bless her, my first was exactly the same, high maintenance... and still is :haha:

M2c looking gorgeous as ever, you're really cooking now, you be 3rd tri in the blink of an eye!
Yep told hubby, he's cautious but seems to think this one will result in a new family member too. :)

EPU won't mind when I have a scan, but I have a feeling charing cross will want me to have one soon, as it's so soon after a mc. I like the scans, but I just hate all the waiting about and the kids are usually up the walls too. Spent wayyy too much time waiting in EPU this year!

Dano I'm kinda gagging for the third tri! I don't want this pregnancy to go quick so I'm not wishing time away but I love the excitement of third tri!

Great that you told DH but I can see why his cautious. Hope with everything this is your take home bubs..... And maybe even a pink one!!!

Xxx

I think pink one too Dano! Praying its your special no 3 to take home :)

Ece, I hope Ekin handled her immunizations better this time. I used that a little more attention was needed when we had ours and had the pain relief on hand just to help with any fevers. I wish Marcy had been a little more needy now when she was younger especially as she is such a daddy's girl. I miss that feeling that I was the main one she wanted. Now if my dad is around too (her pa) then she chosen him over me too! I hope that once your little girl turns 3 months, it settles a little more. Do you have a baby carrier? She might enjoy being in one while you have hands free. Glad that she is healthy too xx

Laura, we will have my sister in law or a good friend come over to watch Marcy until my mum arrives. My mum is an hour away so I may not have the time to wait. I'm glad your mum is able to be there and have your little ones. Corban and Indie will love it for sure.

Oh it feels so good to be finished work!

I know. Its so good. Not long now. Only weeks... Can't wait :)
