Month after anovulatory cycle...

Thank you! How many dpo are you now? I just started getting the fatigue the last few days. I am 4+4 today. Bbs are a little sore but nothin else really.

I am now 13dpo. I am tired, but I can't tell if this week has been crazy busy (busier than usual) or if it's the pregnancy. Same here with the sore boobs, but I am even used to this with AF--so nothing major! I have heard that most symptoms don't kick in until 6 weeks. Of course, they can kick in earlier, but the most common time is 6 weeks. I am a teacher, so I hope that the sickness stays away. I don't want to be running out of class!

has been great! It's like the anovualtory cycle reset my body. Advice was given to me that I might O early after my anov. cycle, which was so true! I O'd on cd 14, which is the earliest I have ever O'd! The earliest for me prior to this was cd 19. I had amazing EWCM, and I think my chart looks great. After last month, I was happy to even O! And my pre-O temps have been way less wonky and up-and-down than they have been in the past 8 months of charting, and my post-O temps (which also usually has dips and ups-and-downs) looks good too. Here's hoping this is the month!!!!!!!:happydance:

Hi ladies, hope you dont mind me jumping in. Congratulations your BFP!
I had my little boy alomost a year ago now after a whole year of trying so I understand the journey!:winkwink: I just stubbled across this thread and wondered if you had any more info about the Anovulatory cycle. I have been having regular cycles and using Opks to keep an eye on everything. However I didnt get my period last month but pregnacy tests are all BFN.:nope: I cant work out what has happened. I am now 9 days late and lost to what may have gone wrong.....

Welcome to our group!!! Thanks for the congrats--I am excited! I know--I would never have thought that it would take over a year to get a BFP. The only way that I knew it was an anovulatory cycle was through temping because I did get breakthrough bleeding, which was almost exactly like my period. If I had not been temping, I thought have thought that it was a period and that therefore, I ovulated. I got a positive +opk that cycle has well. To me, that's why temping is so important. For what I understand, every women can have 1-2 anovulatory cycles a year. Even if your cycles are regular, your body can decide to suddenly just not ovulate. It can gear up to do so (hence the positive OPK) but then it doesn't. I think mine was due to stress. Some women have to call their doctor and get medicine prescribed to them to jump start their periods again. What cycle day number are you on?

I'm ok. I have actually been spotting on and off since my BFP. So that's 11 days now. It seems to happen like once a day brown spotting mostly. My doc didn't seem concerned and I have been to emerge twice and they weren't concerned either. I am a little stressed by it all, especially since I had a recent loss at 10 weeks in January this year. I am being monitored closely though and my hcg is rising. I have an early ultrasound in about 2 weeks so will see how it goes. I'm definitely trying not to get attached yet.

How Are you today?

Awe, I am sorry about your loss in January. I totally understand your stress and concern, but it is good that neither the doctor or the ER seemed overly concerned. I keep reading that spotting is common but should also not be ignored. I guess that means that it could be nothing or it could be something. This is my first time ever being pregnant, but even when I wipe, I pray there is no spotting of any kind. It freaks me out! I was telling my husband that I just want get to the "safe zone" of 12 weeks. I know that something can happen even after that, but the risk goes way down. But that's 8 weeks away! But I know I need to just relax and pray about it! Stress will not do me any good. But it's hard not to think about it. Especially when almost every woman I know around me who has children had a miscarriage. Ah!

Also, has far as the pregnancy goes, I am not having many symptoms. I don't really even feel pregnant! I may feel a little more tired than usual, but part of me thinks that may all be in my head! But I know that they will come. And I am only 4.1 weeks.

How are you doing???? I hope that you are doing better. I know the spotting concerned you. I spoke with a girlfriend of mine and she said that she had a friend who spotted for 2 weeks. I hope that you are doing well.:hugs:

Hey! I'm doing well I think. I haven't spotted in a week now so fx it stays away! The week before that it was also very minimal. I am super tired and my bbs are pretty sore. Had a few mild flashes of nausea that started yesterday but nothing too bad. I have my scan on tues so praying there is something in there! I'm 6.5 weeks today from o date.

Thank you for your reassurance about the spotting. How are you doing? Why symptoms yet? How many weeks are you now?

Awe, great!!! I am glad that your spotting has gone away.:happydance: I pray that it continues to do so. I am at the end of 6 weeks from my period (so 4 weeks from O). My only symptoms really are sore boobs, I feel like I do have to pee more, and sometimes I am exhausted! I haven't had any nausea yet, and I hope it doesn't come! The only people that know are my hubby and 2 close girlfriends. I think it'll be way more fun when everyone finds out!

Yeah I totally agree. Can't wait to tell people but really want to know things are good first. Just dh and my mom know right now. We may tell our immediate families next week if the scan is good. See how I feel.

Hey! It's been a while! How was your scan?????!??

Hey! I have been taking a B and B break as I was finding the first tri boards too stressful. Scan was great. All is good so far. 9+4 today. Had my first midwife appt today. It is all feeling a little more real. Just want to get past first tri.

How have you been doing? Any news?

I am doing well. My first appointment is Monday, I'll be in my 10th week. I don't blame you for not looking at the board--I did too and found the things on there too stressful. I don't need those worries!

I am hoping and praying that everything will be fine. Symptoms are sore boobs, tired, indigestion, getting fuller quicker, etc. Kind of crazy! I do think that after my first appointment and ultrasound that it will feel WAY more real.

It's so exciting! Good luck with your first appt. will they do an ultrasound at that appt? I can't wait to be out of first tri!
