More Mixed Organisms than usual.....

Hi Ladies,

I had a letter today from the Maternity Unit, saying that my urine sample had more mixed organisms than usual. And that I need to go and do a repeat sample ASAP.

Any ideas what this could be???

It likely means that you either have a urinary tract infection or your sample was contaminated hence the retest. If you arent feeling unwell id go with bad sample. Xxx

sometimes it indicates things developing that you didnt yet notice.

Thanks for the replies ladies!

I have been feeling pretty under the weather and had some pretty severe pains in my back and lower tummy. Which I thought might be just stretching pains. As well as sickness. Just a big mess really! Lol!

So best go do that re-test!

I had similar and the dr told me it usually means you had discharge in your sample which is common in pregnancy.
