MORE TESTS PAGE 8: 9 weeks after giving birth and positive pregnancy test?

Holy moly! Looks bfp. I'm excited and shocked for you :) ;)
Can't wait for an update... Hope you are okay!! Xxx

Congratulations if you are after the difficulty you'd previously faced. Looks a bfp to me :flower:

Haha pcake. I'm so lucky and my eldest has always been a good sleeper. He has 3 hours in the afternoon and then goes to bed at 8.30am and up at 7.30am. So when I was pregnant with my youngest, I did manage to get some rest. I tell you what though, having a newborn makes you realise how hard toddlers are!! Roll on when my youngest is a bit older and they can entertain each other. Especially as mummy just isn't as fun as daddy!

So anyway, I tested this morning with my other Tesco test and another IC. I can see another faint line on the Tesco test and a little something on the IC (but then I think no matter what, you can always see a line on those bleeding things!). I've attached some pics but I don't think it shows up. I'll try and upload another pic when it dries as well because it's one of those shiny window tests that smear up for a while! I'm just waiting for my husband to get home from work (which should be soon) and then I'm going to pop to Asda and buy one of their tests. Will update again. I was reading that Tesco tests can be notorious for giving false lines. I was also reading about some woman who had a positive pregnancy test at about 10 weeks after giving birth and it turned out she wasn't. As nice as it would be to have another baby, I'm really not ready for it. But what will be will be.

I'll update when I manage to get to Asda and do another test. I think theirs are supposed to be more sensitive?

I can see the faint lines. I've found Tesco tests to be way more sensitive than they say they are and got a bfp in the past with a hCG below 5.

Possibly could be residual from your baby. Curious to see if they darken xx

I really do hope that it's just left over from the pregnancy. If I had loads of money, then I'd quite happily have another baby but we don't and I really want to try and enjoy the two I have. Plus it was my New Year's resolution to be pregnancy free this year! Ha! I may get a Superdrug one instead as Asda is in the next town. And I know that Superdrug are supposed to be 10miu. I've never used them with any of my viable pregnancies x

Superdrug are the best tests on the market over here.

I've always liked FRER but probably because it doesn't have a shiny test window so it's easier to obsess over lines. My other favourites are the 10miu Instalert ones from accessdiagnostics. Cheap and equally as good as FRER at a fraction of the price! x

Tested with Superdrug and it's negative. I even cracked it open and nothing there. So maybe the Tesco ones are evaps or dodgy tests. Definitely a line on both of the Tesco ones. Will test again tomorrow as I have a couple more Superdrug ones. Top one is Superdrug.

I found superdrug tests the most sensitive for me so hopefully they are just evaps on the other tests. Maybe a digital would be easier. I'm not sure how long hcg stays in system but i would have thought it would be under 5 after 8 weeks...
