Moses Basket canopy won't stay up...... :-(

I was sooooo excited about getting the moses basket on Friday, it's now all set up in the nursery but the canopy won't seem to stay up!!!! There are two plastic twister clips that it attaches too but doesn't seem to do anything... anyone had the same problem and got any tips?? x

Yes, mine took bloody ages to figure out and even now the stupid thing won't stay up properly!! It stressed me out so much I gave up in the end!

I think you're meant to twiddle the little plastic clips until they're tight, and that should help it stay up... I quite like the way mine looks now though...

Mine doesn't stay up - and I had other baskets with my other kids and they never stayed up either !!!

yep mine doesnt either and either did my sons. Dont have a clue why they bother if it doesnt seem to work for any1

Mine never stayed up either! Was an expensive one too.. wasnt too impressed!

i have an exspensive one mine 2 doesnt stay up, i tried tightening it and everything.
my others 2s didnt either lol . x .

Mine is kinda up... not up fully though and that's as good as i can see to get it

Mine stays up but only after some serious fiddling about. There must be away to get them to stay as all the ones I looked at it shops had the canopy up.

Maybe you could go and have a play with some in the shops and see how they stay up.

Mine wont stay up either! I twisted them little things til my fingers hurt and still nothing!!

Mine sort of stays half way up but that's as good as it gets - I gave up a while ago!

Mine didn't stay up until I moaned to OH - he twiddled with the plastic clips and now it stays up It is defo something to do with those plastic bits.

I think there must be a knack to it, Im still waiting for mine to arrive but will get DH to fiddle with it till it works, seems stupid for them not to stay up, hope you can solve it, take care XX

I had this problem, as well, in the end i just took the hood off.
