which have you used? If you just got a crib, what did you do about baby sleeping downstairs during the day?

Thanks

If it was a 2 story house, I'd sleep or co bed and then have a playpen, bassinet or other sleeping area down stairs.

We used a Moses basket and a crib for upstairs. The next to me cribs are good but you have to shuffle down the bed to get out which I imagine could be difficult in the first few weeks if you have stitches or a c-section xx

I used a moses basket with my older two but normally leave that upstairs during the day, they either slept in a baby swing/chair or in the carry cot bit of their pram during the day, that's what I'll be doing this time x

I'm using a moses basket.

I’ve used a Moses basket although at 2 months we’ve already transferred to cot so not sure it’s been worth it for us. For downstairs I bought a purflo thing (a cheaper sleepyhead alternative) and he sleeps in that like a dream and we can place it on any flat surface
