Mould help - URGENT!

Don't throw them away! Try clove oil first, it actually kills the spores and inhibits further growth. Just google clove oil and mould and there is loads of info. I used to live in north Queensland and had massive mould problems in our house during the wet season and it really helps....good luck x

ooh that sounds promising thankyou! Would the oil not damage them though... i didnt think oil + nappies worked very well

I will do everything once, they cant be any worse than they already are! xx

It's not really an oil like olive oil.....more like an essential oil. It's really strong.....you only need a few drops

Ooh I love the smell of clove oil, is it safe to use often on nappies?
I thought it was poisenous.

I found napisan in tesco today, in the baby bit beside the milton and cotton wool and stuff :)

Oh, never heard that before! I don't think it is.....? I've also seen it used neat rubbed on the gum for tooth ache (for adults).....may be if you drank loads??? I imagine it would be fine as you would wash it out of the nappy....Can't be worse than bleach etc....they are also poisonous!

Well yeah thats true! lol

I'm sure they dont recommend it in this country anymore for toothache, I could be wrong tho.
And the nappy bins in mothercare always smell like cloves, maybe they use clove oil in them.

So what do you do, put a few drops in the wash with the soap powder or in the rinse bit?

Prob is banned here for tooth ache.....lots of things in oz are a bit old fashioned....I loved it there though :)

TBH, I don't have a clue how to use it with a front loader, most people had top loaders there, so you could just put in a few drops once the machine had filled up by lifting the lid mid cycle.....hold on I'll have a google and see....

Right, had a quick look at you just put it in the detergent drawer....easy!
