Mucus plug - question

Hey guys

Anyone lost their mucus plug? Can you describe what it looked like?
Been having period like pains for a few days and had brownish pinkish discharge when I wipe after I pee. This is my plug right?

Hopefully this is the beginning!!

Yes that sounds like your plug! I didn't loss mine with dd till I was in established labor, they say you can loss it a few weeks before labor beginning or during like I did. Good luck

Mine came out in really thick clumps, some pieces were blood tinged. I lost mine in early labour.

Mine was a big gelatinous, bloody blob.

Hate to say it, but google pucs. They are gross but thats what it looks like lol.

Mine has been coming out over the last few days too and I'm 35 weeks tomorrow. Like the pp mine is yellowey snot like mucus and quite a bit of it

Ha, you know what I had this idea yesterday right before eating lunch... Not the best time!

Mine has now turned into more clear snot, but the cramps have stopped.. Annoying!

think I might have lost mine too. it looked just like snot. kinda yellowy colour. no pink to it what so ever though. I'm only 33 weeks.

(Tmi beware lol) I'm pretty sure I lost my plug..but FTM i can't be sure. If it wasnt my plug I dont know what it was!! I woke up, went to the toilet as normal and I had a few jelly bits and some brownish liquid on the tisue...after I wiped twice it had all gone. I havent even had any discharge since. I'm thinking it was my plug??!!

no idea, but that's how mine looked earlier. not had anything since other then the odd cramp.

If it had brown on it it sounds like mycus plug, thats what mine looked like in my last pregnancy, but if it wasnt a lot then its coming in pieces... I still made it to my induction date lol

Yea, if it's the whole thing it looks like a big blob, about the size of a golf ball, of clear or yellowish jelly with some pink or brown blood streaks. But if you're only losing little bits it can regenerate!

Hey ladies

So it turned out not to be the mucus plug, but amniotic fluid. My hind waters had broke and were trickling out. Thought it wasn't gel like enough to be my plug it was too watery.
Anyway when I spoke to a MW at the delivery suite she seemed to think it was my plug to, so I went with what she thought. A few days later I was in labour, but they wanted to give me induction drugs to speed things up because my waters had been reputed so many days before, plus when they broke the rest of my waters there was maconium in it. A very long story short had my LO via c-section jan 16th 4:58am. Happy lady!
