Not really sure where to post this!?

I am just looking for anyone who has had more than 3 c-sections.
Was your 4th or so on, planned & willing to risk? Or did it just happen and you dealt with it?

Any experience stories you want to share I want to hear!

I reallllly want one more child, have always wanted 4 or 5. Willing to stop at 4 now. I have had 4 pregnancies one m/c at 11 wks but have had 3 other babies, all by c-section. Not planned to be sections, first one I labored and then ended up with section after 35 hrs, at 39 wks. Second one I went for vbac and again after long labor had another emergency section, @ 41 wks. Then with my third it was a planned section no labor at 39 wks. I hate the dr. advice but understand that is their job, and just HATE that surgery can make up my fate as a mother/life long dream kwim? I have 2 girls and a boy and would love to try for another boy, a girl would be accepted lovingly too though obviously.
I know I have a lot of internal adhesions, they had to cut my stomach 2 inches further than in the past with my thrd one because they couldn't get him out with all the scarring. My OB last time I visited her for other reasns, I asked, and she said she wouldn't go past 2 sections, not even with me personally but that she wouldn't risk that. BUT when I had my third section I told her I didn't want my tubes tied BUT THAT IF IT WOULD BE LIFE THREATENING to ever go through that again then GO AHEAD AND DO IT & well... she didn't. So anyway, this is what raises me asking for stories of experience here...... I can't shake the baby fever.. and don't want to be paranoid & terrified my whole pregnancy either if I fall pregnant again.

We have been ntnp, thought I was pregnant, tested last night after AF being 5 days late and bfn, and then go figure within minutes AF started. So not pregnant. Yet! lol

Oh also all of mine were pretty close together... had first Nov 2006, second Oct 2008, third May 2010, and the mc was Aug 09

I'm on my 3rd section.... I know someone who has had 5. I'm not sure that there is any set rule about it, but I'd say listen to your body. And find a doctor who is a specialist who can deal with any complications that could potentially come up. Depending on what your last doc/midwife told you, I'd say get another opinion, they can do an exam and see how severe the scarring is and if they think its safe or not.

Think you would have been better posting this in a different area

Im having my 4th csection early next year :baby: Have heard of others having 4 or more! :flower:

thanks girls for the replies
yeah new to the board and not really sure where to post!

Hi, i know this is late, But i had 4-c sections and they went perfect. 4th was just as fine as the 1st. the PROBLEM i had was, I had my tubes tied since i thought 4 was like the max.....well I had them reversed 14 months later. Biggest mistake of my life. It is a long story, but i wanted to post to tell you to not let your OB try to talk you into anything like that regardless if you think you are "done"...wait until this baby is 6 months old then decide. Tubal ligations during c-sections should not be allowed. they should make the mom wait until she is thinking clearly!!!;) just my 2cents..
