My 3 yr old just got diagnosed with cataracts

My poor wee man was just discovered to have cataracts in both eyes. It's gonna be a bit of a rough and rocky road ahead of us, but fortunately we are a little bit prepared for what we might expect because his daddy, my OH, actually had the same thing when he was the same age as my son.

But still, it sucks that a kid that young is going to have to go through this and probably will need to compensate for it with glasses and such the rest of his life now.

Ya, I feel so bad for the little guy. Gonna be a busy time for the next little bit for us but its nice that we got support from the family, and even more of a blessing that they've been through it so can tell us maybe a little of what we might expect.

It's always hard when you go through things you don't expect. My whole life is something I didn't expect lately
