Hi. I have a 3 month old baby boy and normally he is really good with his feeds and takes his 6 ounces of sma white without any problems.
Unfortunatly he was recently struck down with a bout of the snuffles and found it hard to feed. I Bought him some saline nose drops so he could feed and that seemed to help..or so i thought...
Even though his nose is clear he screams the place down and wont stop the minute the bottle touches his lips. I placed him in his rocker chair and tried that way and he took the bottle so I was like "ok, he wants to be more upright", but when i tried holding him and feeding him in a more upright position he still screamed. Its really awful because you can tell he is hungry as he grabs at the bottle and does his "bo bo face" but he wont drink. Its usually more successful in the chair but not always and i cant only feed him in his chair.
I just dont know what to do!! The snuffles are just about gone but he is still doing it! He is really random with it sometimes also..yesterday he did it with every single bottle, but today he drank 2 ok...one in his chair but the others he only took half. He doesnt seem in pain or poorly as he is all giggles when he isnt crying.
Any suggestions????
