My LO was 11lb4 at 6 weeks 3 days Think its average as my LO is on the 50th.

Omar was 12 lbs at 8 weeks & 8 lbs at birth. He was a big baby but now he's at the 75th percentile for weight. DH & I are average but my brother is 6'6" & my BILs are on the bigger side.

My lo was 8.4 pound born at 41 weeks and when I had her weighed at 9 weeks she was 11.7 pound she's still on her line but she doesn't enjoy her milk at all it's a struggle to feed her... Any thing I could do to change this? xxx

aww, lauren's the opposite - 8lb 4oz at birth & 8lb 13oz when i had her weighed at 4 weeks, which is about what bella was at the same age!

every baby can be so different..my girl is 14 weeks and weighs 10ilb 4.she was 7.9ilb at birth.very slow with weight gain (but so was her brother) she happy,contented and sleeps through night

as previous poster said all babies are different, my lil niece is 3 weeks and weighing 9lb 9oz, but my LO at 3weeks was 8lb 8oz!!

my LO was 9lb 15oz at 6 weeks and she was 7lb 5oz at birth

as long as their happy healthy and thriving hun i wouldnt worry xxx

I'm getting my daughter weighed tomorrow, she was 10lb 1oz at 2 weeks but was 9lb 14oz at birth so god knows what she will be tomorrow at 3 weeks, let alone 6 weeks lol!

Taylor was 9lb 6ozs at birth (born at 42 weeks) and at her 5 week appointment she was 10lb 14ozs. She did drop weight into the low 8lb range in the hospital though.

My middle two were similar but due to health problems had trouble gaining weight in the middle months of their first year-so them being big to start with and gaining weight rapidly in the first couple of months did them a favour xx
