I am so scared! Background: DH's most recent SA was all normal :) I am on Synthroid, Dexamethasone, and Metformin. Latest blood work (11/6) showed that my TSH was 0.9 (was 3.5 on 8/23), testosterone was 53 (was 72 on 8/23, normal is 8-48) and DHEA-S was 357.9 (was 431.5 on 8/23, normal is 11-431.5). Glucose and insulin levels are normal. So in six weeks, all my blood work had improved greatly. I have continued my medicine since then so the testosterone my be a little lower now *fingers crossed*. I had an HSG on 10/7. My right tube flowed and the left one looked damaged. My doctor wants to do 3-4 IUI's and if I am not pregnant after that, we will talk about removing that tube or at least look at it closer.
I was really hoping that last month would have worked since my bw was better, but AF came yesterday. I am supposed to start Femara 5 mg on cd 3. I have done 50mg of Clomid (cd5-9) for 4 months with TI and we did not get pregnant. CD 21 blood work confirmed ovulation. I normally had 2-3 follicles in the 18-22mm range at cd 13. (I had 6 follicles one month!!) At that time though, my DH had sperm issues.
My questions are: What day will I have an ultrasound and IUI? I have seen ultrasounds on cd 9,10, 12? and IUI's the next day. I ask because we are going out of town on 5/7. That is cd 15. I am hoping we will be all done by that time. We will reschedule our plans if needed though. I will call the doctor tomorrow to schedule everything but I just wanted to hear experiences.
Also, would you wait 3-4 months before exploring the tube more? I was told last year that my left tube looked like it had fluid in it on an ultrasound. They always have a hard time getting a good picture of it anyway. I have read that a hydro can damage embryos and I obviously do not want to put time and money into something that will just be destroyed by my body. I am thinking that we will do an IUI this month and then talk about surgery in Jan.
Another side note- We are not rich. We are trying our best and have saved as much as possible to do what we can to have a baby. So money is a factor in our decision. This is why I don't want to pay for 4 IUI's, if there is no way it will work. I have no insurance coverage for fertility, even though I pay a TON for insurance. Our first visit with our fertility specialist was over $800, so we try to maximize each visits as much as possible.

Any advice is appreciate!! Thanks for reading.
