Oh my goodness!!! I can't believe Amaya is a year old already!!! Happy belated birthday beautiful Amaya

Sadly this cycle is off to a rough start. They submitted my prior auth for my meds and the pharmacy is saying I'm not covered, which is ridiculous since my benefits state 3 cycles with ALL meds covered for each cycle. I got a call around 11 that they finally approved it but they haven't called me back to schedule a shipment of my meds.

The drs office has given me a 2 day supply until my meds come and I already used them. Hoping they have another sample for tomorrow's dose

Keep praying ladies, this is our last shot.

My journey definitely is one wild ride and when I look back at some of my posts I think....who is this person and how is she making it through all of this??? The only reason I'm here and have the faith I do is because I serve a mighty God and I know He will never let me down. He is my strength when I'm weak and my peace when all seems frantic. God is good and I'm so blessed to be able to share my journey with so many women all over the world.

Yes, please share my story and I would love the prayers. More prayer, more power!!!

I know I have said that I feel connected to you as well. I say this because I think it's obvious that there truly is something about you. God is so good. I know that God will bless you with a child. I fully and whole heartedly believe He chose you because you are strong enough to endure...to go through years of disappointment, IVF more than once, rough starts, sad endings...only to come out showing just how miraculous He is. He chose you. You will be pregnant and carry to term, and when you do your testimony will encourage so many others and help so many others through their journey. Still praying for you hun...with love!

My insurance is giving me a hard time and is not approving my medications. They are going through review and I need them ASAP!

I've been using sample from the Dr's office and they don't have any more to give me.

I need a miracle!

Sarah, probably not what you want to do, but if your benefits book says it is covered and the ins has no real ground to stand on; you can threaten calling the insurance commisioner. If they are playing games and they are in the wrong it will usually get them going....they can be fined heavily (atleast here) by breaking their own contracts. You can call your states dept of ins and they can usually push things through and be an advocate for you. Ins companies don't like people knowing this. They are breaking the law if they don't provide servicesn pmts that are covered & they don't have an exclusion for. My guess is they are dragging their feet if it is a this yr only thing so they can say 'sorry, yr's over'.

Time to play their game....and it is a game. Years of working in dr's offices and dealing with billing / ins has taught me that if they think in the slightest they can get away with it- they will try. Stand your ground and go over their heads.

Another one said- don't send so many claims in 1 day- only so many will be processed and the rest trashed as if they had never gotten them.

Others will intentionally put in wrong id numbers, diagnosis, procedures ect to deny it and then later deny it again after you show it was sent correctly bc after they sent denial (dragged their feet) was past filing time limit.

Wow, that is so sad!

I had my husband call the insurance company since he is more firm than I am. They were trying to say I was past my 45 days of stimulation meds, which is totally untrue. We had to go step by step telling them how each cycle went, when I'm sure they had all that information right in front of them. I was so frustrated and a little.

Thankfully hours later we got the call that everything is good to go and I should receive my medications today.

My Dr's office said out of all patients, my insurance is the worst! I told them it was a trade, you can't have a wonderful patient and great insurance, it has to be balanced

Now we wait for the approval of the egg retrieval and embryo transfer. We need this approved by Wednesday since they are off for Thanksgiving and the day after and my egg retrieval may be that Fri, Sat or Sun.

Thank you Lord that I got the meds I need and that you have this all under control!

(Lady Prayer Warriors are my three closest GFs from church who are carrying me in prayer through this journey!! They also know your story and I give them updates---Prayers are on there way from CT!!!)

I'm glad to have found your ttc journal... I am so sorry for what you have had to endure, but I know that your heart is strong, and that you will forge all of this sorrow into faith.

I'm doing good! I'm now nervously awaiting for Insurance to approve the egg retrieval and embryo transfer. I hate how they wait until the last minute to give us the answer.

I went in yesterday for an ultrasound and it looks like there are about 10-15 follicles so far. I go in again tomorrow to see if they are continuing to grow. Dr estimates egg retrieval sometime this weekend. Crazy how fast this is going
