Hello Sarah,

We are praying for you here in CT!!!! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and keep us posted!!!!

Blessings,

~Sarah~

Thanks Sweetheart :hugs:

I just got back from the Dr's office and it looks like my egg retrieval will be happening on Sunday. They are going to call me later with my lab work results and let me know if I need to come in again tomorrow or on Friday. Doing my best to relax and remember that it's all in God's hands :)

Praying for you today and always, Sarah. I hope you and your family have a lovely Thanksgiving. :hugs:

Good morning!

I had my egg retrieval yesterday and everything went great! They got 18 eggs and the Dr said about 10 of them are mature. They put them together with hubbies swimmers and today they will call and tell me how many got married last night

Thank you all for your continued prayers.

Hi Sarah,

That is great news!!!! Keeping up the prayers!!!

~Sarah~

They finally called and said out of the 18 eggs, 10 of them got married last night :happydance:

Because I had more than 4 fertilized, I was able to enroll in a trial study they are doing called Eeva.

Eeva™ The Science Behind Eeva

The science behind Eeva came from groundbreaking research conducted at Stanford University and published in the highly regarded scientific journal Nature Biotechnology (October 2010). The renowned team of researchers systematically measured 3 distinct time periods in early human development and were able to predict on day 2 which embryos would continue development through day 5 (blastocyst) with a high degree of accuracy.

Auxogyn has developed the Eeva system for time-lapse imaging along with uniquely intelligent Eeva software that automatically analyzes embryo development against these scientifically and clinically validated cell-division time periods. Eeva’s software not only provides novel quantitative information, but it ensures consistent measurements to assess embryo development versus the manual methods used today in IVF clinical practice.

Auxogyn recently completed a multi-center, 160-patient clinical trial to validate the safety and efficacy of Eeva. The results showed that Eeva is safe and can predict an embryo’s ability to develop into a blastocyst. These results and other supporting data from the study have been used for regulatory filings in Europe and the United States.

What this means is that we can do a 3 day transfer and from using this technology they can determine which embryos would have made it to the 5 day transfer.

I'm so excited!!! My transfer will be on Wednesday, Dec 4th, 1 day after my 1st angel's due date.

Hi Sarah,

Awesome news!! Still trying to learn about IVF so...would they usually do the embryo transfer at five days if you didn't qualify for Eeva? By doing Eeva it means you get to do embryo transfer sooner and this means a higher success rate?

Blessings,

~Sarah~

Praise God! What an exciting thing to be a part of! Praying for all of your precious little embryos and the transfer! :)

Hi sarah,

They do a 3 or 5 day transfer depending on how your embryos look and how many you have. My 1st IVF cycle we only had 2 good ones make it to day 3, so we did a day 3 transfer. My 2nd cycle I had over 8 good ones on day 3, so we pushed it to a 5 day transfer to see which embryos continued to develop. With this technology they are able to see which ones are strong enough to keep growing, which equals better success rates.

The insurance has been a headache with the medication and the procedure this time around. They actually denied authorization for me to get my 3rd IVF stating that since my miscarriage was because of a chromosomal abnormality, they didn't want to cover another cycle.

Praise God for my Dr and the wonderful coordinators at my IVF clinic, my coordinator was going round and round with the insurance and then my Dr got on the phone with them and explained that the abnormality had nothing to do with me that it could happen to anyone at anytime and so they approved it!

I can't believe how fast this year is going by with all that has happened. Today is the due date of my 1st angel  I think about my little Gingy often and wonder what he/she would of been like. I'm thankful that God is looking after Gingy and his/her siblings and can't wait to hold Gingy in my arms one day.

I'm keeping my faith and believing this time I will have my rainbow baby!

Hi Sarah

I remember you from your Christian TTC thread when I first joined last year, and I've been following your story & just caught up after a bit of a break from BnB. I am so in awe of your faith and your strength in Him, what an amazing witness you are! You are so on my heart and I wanted you to know that I'm also praying for you, it's so hard to understand why things happen the way that they do and to try to understand the way that God works - I just figure that in comparison with our big huge God, my little tiny brain can't possibly comprehend it! But I trust Him and I know that you do too, even if he does work in very mysterious ways sometimes! I found this poem earlier in the year when we were going through a really tough time, and I wanted to share it with you, you have probably seen it already but I just love it! It was of such comfort to me and a really poignant reminder of who my wonderful Father is. I'll post it below.

Sending lots of love and prayers your way, you are such an amazing woman of God, daughter and Princess (awesome that's what our name means!)

From another Sarah :) x

The Master Weaver's Plan

My life is but a weaving
Between the Lord and me;
I may not choose the colors–
He knows what they should be.

For He can view the pattern
Upon the upper side
While I can see it only
On this, the under side.

Sometimes He weaves in sorrow,
Which seems so strange to me;
But I will trust His judgment
And work on faithfully.

‘Tis He who fills the shuttle,
And He knows what is best;
So I shall weave in earnest,
And leave to Him the rest.

Not ’til the loom is silent
And the shuttles cease to fly
Shall God unroll the canvas
And explain the reason why.

The dark threads are as needed
In the Weaver’s skillful hand
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned.

I am so happy for you and praying for you!
What an amazing world.

Wow...can't believe how fast this year has gone by hun. I remember little gingy...looking like a ginger bread man (or woman). You will hold your angels again.

Praying so hard for you for this time around. As far as the insurance, it's always something. But God is an "it's always something" God...that's His specialty, one of them anyway. Ten beautiful couples to work with. Praying tomorrow goes smoothly and that you have a happy and healthy pregnancy!

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers:hugs: I'm officially pupo!!! (Pregnant until proven otherwise)

Out of the 10, 3 of them were great quality and the Dr let us transfer 3 since this is our last shot.

I go in on Dec 15th for my pregnancy test. Really praying for a Christmas miracle :)
