Name spelling

I like Jordan too but I'm just not sure if its more common to use another spelling for a girl? Not many girls running around here called Jordan lol

The name is a bit more common here in the U.S., so I would go with the y spelling just to make it more feminine. :)

I agree with maybebaby. With a 'y' seems girlier to me.

Ummm not to be a slow one, but... what happened to Penelope??

I was scared to death she was going to get made fun of for her name because everyone who hears it at first had something horribly negative to say about it. So I was sitting down and not even thinking about baby names and I was like "oh my god, i have to call her Jordyn". So Jordyn it is.

maybe i cant read but i thought Jordyn was pronounced Jord-in.....

Have you gone off Penelope then?

I liked Penelope best...

Me too. But people are just so f*ing rude and they just can't keep their mouths shut. I just don't want her to grow up hating me for naming her Penelope if people are going to be so blessed rude about it.

I thought it was too, lol.

But I like it as Jordan.

Although Jordan is how they spell it for a lad to.

Mmm I think this is the accent thing coming through again haha.

I pronounce them ALL Jord-in

Haha, Oooh.

We would say Jordan as Jord-UN / Jord-ERN

In my common wigan accent anyway, lol.

Oh my, thats hard that. To type how I say it.

I can understand that about the name, its a tough one when you like a name and everyone has a negative comment. We got that a lot with London. :(

A friend of mine's name is spelt Geordan, which is a more unusual way I guess?
xx

F*ck the lot of them.....BRING BACK PENELOPE!!!!!!!!!!
