You could always do Penelope-Jordyn or Jordyn-Penelope.....

That way if your little girl hates her name when she is older she can use either one....i like Penelope....

Me too. But people are just so f*ing rude and they just can't keep their mouths shut. I just don't want her to grow up hating me for naming her Penelope if people are going to be so blessed rude about it.

Everyone takes the piss out of astrid too but im hoping that will just give her (if its a girl) more spirit!

Jordan would be the common spelling here i think but it is nice with a y.

Dont worry about what other people say though hun, pick which one you like best!

Might as well call her Penelope. If your child is going to get made fun of, then children will just find something else to tease her about. Kids tease each other, it happens. If not for a name then for hair colour, dress sense, etc. Can't wrap them in cotton wool and I think Penelope is a lovely name.
