Anyone have their future children's names picked out?

Like, for kids that you might have years from now? I don't have any children yet, but I've had my future kid's names picked out for years now. Well just girl's names. I find boy names hard to think of, I want something unique but I'll figure that out when the time comes.
I actually have two girl's names picked out, Both named after Men in my family, My grandfather, and father, both who passed away when I was young.
First name i have picked out is Neila Grace, after my Dad who's name was Neil Grant.
The second name I have picked out is Carleigh Victoria. That's after my grandpa because his name and middle name was Carl Victor (his father was Victor Carl).

I do but mostly because I had a recent miscarriage at 11 weeks. So i had started mentally logging names. It's funny though; I wasn't keen on names that i had came close to calling our son before we settled on his name. Funny how quickly tastes can change/ influenced. Like the name Noah for example whilst it is a lovely name, I can't help but wonder if i only think it is nice because it is "normal" to use it now. Where as ten years ago i would probably have laughed at the name...

I suppose that's how names work isn't it ? I imagine in 30 years we may have another wave of babies named Doris and John.

I have a Layla for a sister(18) and all her life people thought her name was a bit quirky. Now they are everywhere!

You have obviously picked family names so a bit different :)

We really liked Edward for our youngest and when i was pregnant recently I thought it was horrid hahah, yet it was second choice for our son!

On the other hand; i have had a list of girls names prepared for a long time; and seeing as how i have never got to use them The list hasn't changed.
I like Freya, Hermione and Alice.

Looks like Freya has really taken off in recent years though- wonder how that happened.

Hermione- No one ever likes so i'm not worried about it shooting to popularity and being ruined for me

Alice seems to be growing and i'm getting a bit nervous that kate middleton might use it haha. I will most likely have more boys anyway And i have no boys names left :/ I literally hate them all.

Yes I've had names picked for a while, then changed once I put it with OH's surname (such a shame!) And we are now pretty settled on Tyler for a boy and Neveyah for a girl ♡
Other names considered:
Theodore/ Theo
Frederick/Freddie
Xavier
Wesley

Mikaelyn
Rhielyn/Rylen
Eleanor/Norah
Aaliyah
Maiya (my uh)

Both your names are lovely and have family meaning which is always great :)

I feel I have a daughter called Lily Martha in my future, or I hope so anyway! My son Jack was always going to be Jack even before I was pregnant or met my OH. Then my OH really liked the name as his grandpa was Jack, and so it just felt like fate :)

I had a list of favourite names before I got pregnant and then completely threw them all out once I started seriously considering naming a baby those names. :haha:

If my LO was a boy she would have been Oliver. I still really like the name but I've since fallen in love with Ezra. I've been trying to convince my DH but he hates it. So we'll probably end up with an Oliver if our next is a boy.

I go back and forth on girls names all the time. I've had several favourites since my LO was born but gone off of most of them. Ivy, Sadie, and Violet are the ones that seem to stick with me, so I'm going to say one of those would be my next girl's name!

We are expecting an Amelie in August. Future boy would probably be Charlie (Charles on BC though) and girl probably Amber, although not sure if that is too close to Amelie. We'll see

I have a Bella (we call her Belle) if we have another girl I like Olive, Alice, Elodie. My boy shortlist includes Theodore, Rocco, Rafferty Myles.

I do and we won't be having any more after this one :haha:. I love thinking of names. DH and I had names we thought we would use years ago (Toby, Isobel and daisy) but once now DH has gone of two of those and although I like them they're not my favourites. We always have a short list of names for both genders and choose when we meet LO. But I can't stop thinking of names for my list; I think I'll have to get a dog :haha:

I find I go crazy with pet names ahaha. They're the names I could never get away with calling my. Children. I have a Sebastian and a neko (cats)

And a penny (dog). I also considered pebbles hahah.

I had my LG due this months name picked out since... Umm forever haha.
I loved the name Isobel and knew I wanted her middle name/s to be after my mom. So my LG will be named Isobel Laura Mae. Laura Mae is my moms first and middle. When OH and I got together he loved the name as his mothers (who passed away when he was 13) name is Isabel (she went by her middle name Cristina though). Then we spent two months deciding on the spelling hehe, and we chose Isobel as I preferred the was it looked on paper better.

My other future names are-
Boys: (first born son) Heaven Richard Avery- after my brother Heaven who passed as a baby and Richard after my older brother/grandpa. Avery will most likely be what he gets called though.

Holden
Theodore

Girls: Zola Marie Francis (Zola means "piece of earth" in Italian, and Marie is after my god mother who passed, Francis is my grandmas middle)

I don't have any more haha but the ones I have are very emotionally connected to me due to being named mostly after family members I care deeply for.

We named our pets two of my favourite boys names which in hindsight was stupid. :haha: If I didn't have pets named Theodore and Oscar they would for sure be front runners for baby names!

I really couldn't pick until a baby was born but I like:

Ella
April
Elizabeth
Sapphire
Helena
River
Sarah
Amy
Meryn
Zoe
Daisy (Getting out off this one now work in a school)

James
Alexander

I always wanted a girl called Isabelle ever since I was little so thats what my eldest is called.
