Hi all,

Forgive me as I've posted a few things now (hoping someone can reply to this one)

I had a mc in Jan at 5 weeks, my daughter who is nearly 5 was born at 34+4 and no one knows why.

After my mc I ovulated on cd20 and came on in cd32 giving me a 12 day lutheal phase. I think with my pregnancy in dec/Jan I implanted at 12dpo which leads me to think this is why I miscarried due to my lutheal phase also ending at this point what are your thoughts?

I have been reading about progesterone cream and think maybe it would be worth trying this this cycle but I'm unsure when I should stop? I know I start it the day after I ovulate but have read a few things which say stop at BFP or 14dpo however, if I were to conceive and implant at 12dpo I may not get a BFP at 14dpo would you stop at 16dpo if you hadn't got a BFP by then or still stop at dpo14 and risk a drop in progesterone when you could be pregnant?

It's all very stressful  any past experiences would be very much appreciated maybe you ovulate and implant late to but have had a successful pregnancy without using anything please tell I'd like to hear your stories :hugs:

Hi hun,
Sorry to hear about your m/c :hugs:
I have been looking into progesterone cream for a short luteal phase too, I think mine is about 10 days.
Everything I have read though says to keep using the cream until 12wks when the placenta takes over. If I were you I would use it til at least 14dpo then take a test. No harm using it til 16dpo also and testing again. If not pg and af comes stop using but if pg I would continue. Of course I'm not a dr so I think it's worth speaking to a dr also! GL :)

Thank you!

I'm not 100% sure on this but I thought progesterone cream delayed your period from starting which is my only concern around stopping at 14 / 16dpo it's all hard work.

I have an appointment with my GP next Thursday so hopefully I can find out what's going on with me.

Thanks again and good luck, hopefully we'll have our bfp'S soon xx

Yes I heard that too! I guess if bfn at 14-16dpo it's probably ok to stop and allow af to come :) GL!
