That is hard- your baby is use to getting the calories at night. You can try stretching the feedings out a bit to see if that helps, is there another way you can soothe your baby to sleep or can your DH soothe your baby to sleep? You can start by trying to drop 1 feed for a few nights, and then see if you can drop another a few nights later. That way your LO will get use to getting more calories during the day. A few wake-ups at night is still normal at this age, but 7-8 times is a lot (believe me, I have been there..once counted 10 times).
