Hello, I am new to this site. I recently took a Walgreen's blue Dye test and I now know after looking into it that the blue dye is prone to false positives. I got a line on my test within the two minute time frame, its very faint and it is blue, I attached a pic .. Do you think it could be a false positive?. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. I also took a clear blue easy the next day with the same result but did not take a pic...Thanks!

i think i see something try a pink dye test or a frer hun just to make sure xx Lots of :DUST:

I see something faint...don't know if it's a positive or evap. Did you look at it at the proper time???

Try again tomorrow as it should get darker everyday and if you can splurge for a digi or a pink dye test you could try those as well .

Hope it's your BFP in there!

I am sorry to say, hun, i have gotten a false positive 2 months before i conceived my daughter with a blue dye test...i would take a first response. fingers crossed x x

I see it! I got a false positive once on a blue dye CVS test which is made by the same company. Go buy a FRER though I bet this is your BFP!!!

my test look just like that one (same test) at 12dpo... Now i am 8 weeks 2 days! Good Luck

Thanks for your responses everyone. I am going to go out and get the FRER test and then see what it tells me. Will let ya know!

Ok so I just got done taking the FRER and it came out completely negative. So that leads me to believe that if the FRER, which is even more sensitive than the Walgreens, so what I got on blue dye was a false positive. I don't see how I can be pregnant if the FRER didn't pick it up. Any thoughts?

The blue dyes give false positives all of the time. Unless is a really, really, bright blue line that is in the center, came up straight away, and is as thick as the control line you can't really be sure their positive. It sucks. :-(
