Hi,

Any suggestions on what cars are out there that can fit three car seats along the back row. My eldest is five so all will need to have a back rest.

I don't want anything new, we can afford around £200pcm on finance.

Thanks x

We have the same dilemma and are getting a used Ford S-max after Christmas. I looked into it a fair bit and though we could probably get away with something a bit smaller we'd struggle for boot space and to strap them all in without climbing all over somebody lol!

Along the same vein as buttercup, we've got a ford galaxy now. We didn't need such a big bus thing but it's nice going from a fiesta to being able to throw the pram in the boot. Were paying £320 a month on finance but ours is pretty much new and top of the range.

We're in the same position, we've currently got a Vauxhall Astra and although my baby and my 18 month old are in good seats my 4 year old isn't. We've looked at the Citroen c4 Picasso but they are about £4000 second hand (not sure about finance) or the older Citroen xsara which is obviously cheaper

There are a lot of websites out there that will list all the vehicles that will fit 3 car seats. I have a Honda Accord and I know that will fit 3.

We also have a Ford Galaxy. It has 7 seats and is a diesel - it's ridiculously economical for such a large car. We love it. Cost us £1100, with one previous owner.

Vauxhall Zafira, Ford S Max, Ford Galaxy, Citroen C4, Renault Scenic (I think), Peugeot 308 (I think). That's just off the top of my head. We've managed to get 3 car seats in the back of a Vauxhall Meriva, an isofox base, a high back booster and a backless booster for the 6 year old. But it's a squeeze. I can't wait till I go back to work and we can afford a bigger car!
