Need Help Please!!

i have been having a few symptoms but AF isnt due for a couple of days and i had heard good things about Superdrug tests so i went and brought some...
The test has 2 windows and if positive each window should have 1 vertical line, however the test window has a visible line going sideways.... has anyone had this or know what it could mean? Thank you xx

Stupid question probably hun but have you read the instruction leaflet? It might tell you in there that it means the test is a dud? Is there a line in both windows but one of them is sideways? Or is it just one of the windows and which one? x

yeah, the leaflet doesnt say anything about this, im sure its not a dud because there are 2 windows, one says that the test has worked, and this is very bold, and the other window is where you are meant to get a vertical line for your positive, but theres a sideways line instead, its very faint but definately there soo confused!

Im not suprised i would be too!! Dont get your hopes up, but maybe this means its a BFP?? I would do another one and if there is nothing there, because af isnt due yet so HCG might not be very high then do another in the morning (i know this is easier said than done as tests cost money but i wouldnt be able to wait!

Did you use a cup or pee on the stick lol? You might have pee'd on the control window maybe? Im just grasping at straws never heard of this happening so im as confused as you are!! x

yeah im gonna wait till the morning and test again then, hopefully may get a stronger result then, and one thats the right way around!!!
I peed in a cup and dipped in, so dont think anything got on the window.

yeah this morning, still BFN - i think it is just how the test works... the test window comes first and the whole window goes pink first as the urine goes through, and then it goes to white, i think it was just from where it was fading back to white never mind AF still hasnt arrived, although my temperature was quite low this morning which isnt a good sign... but i am not taking that too seriously as i have had such unsettled sleep the last couple of weeks i cant really use my BBT as a guide

Aw thats a shame hun, well stay positive, your not out yet, my af hasnt arrived yet either. Im feeling quite sensitive and emotional BUT that could well just be PMT, probably is xx

Im out! she showed her ugly face this morning!! I really thought this was it, tender breasts, really bloated, headaches, emotional, bad back.. to name a few, but i guess these are just my normal changes in my body, but i guess i have never looked or really taken notice of them before, or put 2 & 2 together with the symptoms and my period. I have written everything down though recently so next month hopefully i wont get my hopes up. I am so so gutted though have cried so much! cannot believe it!
