Hi everyone!
Last month was another let down ttc. I wasn't able to do fertility meds & shot this month because I was out of town during the time frame I needed to have bloodwork done. However, Af was sticking around a little too long (15 days) this time. I contacted my RE and he asked me to come in for a transvaginal ultrasound and bloodwork (Wednesday). I had one follicle @ 18 in my left ovary & my uterine lining was at an 8, which was suprising since I was still bleeding. My estrogen levels came back at a 94. He asked me to come back today for a repeat of u/s & bloodwork. The follicle had grew to a 20, my UL was a 9 and my estrogen was 136.
The uterine lining and follicle size I understand, however this is the first time he has ever mentioned estrogen levels. I googled it, but couldn't get a clear answer as to whether that's good or bad. Please help!!!
Background - diagnosed with PCOS at age 18. TTC for 9 years. On a steady regimine of 2000mg of metformin. Was taking only metformin for almost a year which helped me have normal cycles until the last 3 months. Which was odd due to losing 40lbs. Would have made more sense if I had been gaining. Added Letrozole & Ovidrel shot last month.
Miscarriage at 6 weeks in April 2010. No other pregnancies.
