Need some prayers-Update pgs 3 and 5

Thank you to everyone for your well wishes

I went and saw him again today...the doctors said his numbers are improving (his O2 sat was in the 80s yesterday but was 94 when i was there today)

So far so good...i will keep you posted of any changes

so things are...i am not even sure at this point what to say

appearance wise- he seems the same, maybe even a little better. he is breathing with a different kind of ventilator which is at a lower respirations per minute so he looks more comfortable and they have discontinued his caffeine therapy which has brought his heartrate and blood pressure down a little (which is a good thing)

however...they did a scan on his brain yesterday and found an intraventricular hemorrhage on the left side of his brain

the doctor said it is a 4/4 (very bad) and the next week is critical. hoping all is well with our little friend and i will update when he gets his follow up scan

Awww this story makes me sad. If it helps, I was a preemie also born at 29 weeks, weighing 3 pounds 2 ounces (eerie close!). I did t have an air bubble, but there were a few times my family thought I wasn't going to make it and were called to the hospital in the middle of th night. Needless to say, here I am having my own baby.
I will pray your friends son has the same, healthy outcome that I have. I hope my story give you hope. Sending much love. Xoxo
