The only thing i can think of is Avon some people find it never worked for them but i done it for 3 years whilst working full time and then through Charlie being a little one and never had any problems but i decided to leave as im still working 2 days a week and with Charlie now i cant find the extra time for it, i mainly done friends and family but even if i only earned 15 pounds a week it was something and i hardly had to do anything to earn that tbh xx

thanks. x

how does it work?

we get loads of things through the door to sell thing.
like bettaware and such.

With Avon a couple of negatives you have to buy the books which only last 3-6 weeks as you can back order to the last book it runs every 3 weeks and you have to buy bags which are 99p for a 100 something like that so they last agges. You start with the books which are about 4 pounds for 15 books i think i used to pay i cant remember exactly and you just give them out to who you want and get the orders back you can do a road/ roads if you like to get more orders and post the books through there doors, you then collect them back in when you like and you can type the orders on the avon website, they send you the deilvery so many days later , you have 2 dates 1 is when they need the order by and 1 is your delivery date so these will happen once every 3 weeks. When you get your delivery take it out collect the money back in some you keep for yourself which if your commision and the rest you pay to avon . Hope that gives you a rough idea , its really easy once you do it xx

Hello Mrs N,
I havent posted on hear before as I tend to just read the posts. However, I was in the same position as you when my daughter was nly 8 months old. I looked into doing things on line but all the ones I found were scams. I looked into delivering parcels etc but delivering to people in rough areas, to flats down alleys etc with a child wasnt what I wanted.
I came across Usborne books and havnet looked back since, although I wish I hadnt sat it for 5months!

I know you said you would rather not pay to start, however I might be able to tempt you! This month with the usborne starter kit its only £25 (normally £38) for £100 worth of books and stationary. The starter kit is full of books that you will be able to sell before Chrsitmas. All you need to do is place an order of £100 wihtin 12 weeks and you get to keep all your books.

With Usborne you earn 24% comiission (apparently best around) and get free books which you can put into your stock or keep for Joshua. My daughter has her own little Usborne library which hasnt cost me anything :)

What I love about Usborne is it is so flexible. You can work full time, part time, hobby, seasonal, or just buy books for family and friends. You can work for 3 months or have 3 months off. You never miss your childs first milestone, a family event or a childs school concert as you choose the hrs you work. Your are your own boss, you set your own targets, work whenever you want and take your child/ren with you so no child care costs.

90% of the time I take my daughter with me, unless my husband is at home.
There are so many places you can sell toddler groups, nurseries, schools, charity events, leisure centres, soft play areas, parts, fairs, music groups, ballet classes, brownies, twin clubs, baby shows, businesses and thats only a few ideas.

I would love to send you an email more information but I cant figure out how.It wont let me post my email address either as I done enough posts! Please reply to this post or post your email address so that I can provide you with all the information you need as well as answering any questions you may have. If you joined I would give you help, advice and supprot every step of the way. I am also part of an award winning private forum where you can ask questions 24/7 and there plenty of people there with a lot of experience who can answer questions too.

This is the perfect time of year to start working as an Usborne representatve as anybody whatever there age are thinking of buying Christmas presents. Usborne are renowed for their quality and even in this financial climate, people are willing to spend money on books for their child/rens education.

I look forward to hearing from you. J

There used to be a company called AQA (any question answered) that you could do from home. It's one of those companies where someone texts in a question and you answer it via your own PC. No idea if they are still up and running though and the money wasn't fantastic x
