Hello everyone!! I hope you ladies don't mind if I vent for a second. I am just having one of those days where everything seems to be going wrong.
We are still trying to deal with my dd's lip tie, and it's not working out well. We finally found a perfect practitioner to look at it/possibly laser it if need be but I've found out she is about to go on maternity leave and we may not be able to get an appointment. And also,'we need to get a referral from our pediatrician who is doesn't believe the lip tie should affect breastfeeding and thinks my daughter is just self-weaning (she is only 15 months old and is still very interested in nursing...just not for long periods of time). Oh also my pediatrician hasn't heard of a lip tie but still thinks it shouldn't affect breastfeeding...not sure how you can know the effects of something you've never heard of.
So we are dealing with that. And my nipples hurt all the time because my daughter grinds her teeth into them and I'm dreading feedings.
And I accidentally dropped my expensive cell phone today and it is not fixable so I'll have to get another one, and we are going on vacation next week so I'll have to sort it out soon.
