Nerd Nursery Themes

Hi everyone! My hubby and I are team and are trying to decide on a nursery theme.

We know we want bright colors and we are very nerdy. For a boy we were going to do Super Mario Bros but can't decide on one for a girl.


Any suggestions??

Katamari Damacy perhaps? I can't think of anything more bright and colorful. I wanted to go with a portal theme but OH stopped me. He didn't think people would understand the paper-mache turrets and plushy companion cube.

How about velma from scooby doo? or princess gumball from Adventure time?

video game princesses is a good one...how about superheroins?

Or...could you do like a comic book mural on the wall of you and DH meeting, getting married and finding out you're pregnant, then you could leave a few blank for when she's here and her first birthday etc?

In fact, I might do that on my son's wall!!

We ended up doing bright colors and an educational theme. So we have an abacus hanging on the wall, etc etc.
