Hi all,

I've had such a positive attitude for the 13 months we've been trying... until now. I think because I'm turning 35 in a couple weeks (and that seems to be the magic scary "fertility" number). I just keep randomly crying and having a really tough time. I'm now scared there really is something wrong... bad eggs, blocked tube, endo, fibroids, etc. I really thought it would have happened in a year.

I did make an appt to see my gyno in July (had a check up last Aug 2012 and she said all bloodwork was great and I'm super healthy), but I am going to try to go see a infertility Dr. instead now. Just to at least see what he/she thinks.

I've never gotten a BFP in my life. Then again, I did try hard to not get one all these years :winkwink: Birth control pills, Fertility Awareness Method, Morning after pill twice.

Anyone in a similar situation? How do you handle the lows?

I am going to be 35 in the fall. I've been trying for 2 months, but if I'm not pregnant by 6 months I will see a doctor. Since you have been trying for 13 months it's good you are going to see a specialist!

Maybe, your trying for it to hard! Has become more of a job, then bonding time & fun time between you & hubby!! I tried hard for a year, then made it fun.. But still put a pillow under me & didn't move for 30 minutes, and got my Bfp my next cycle! Good luck!

Thanks girls! Yeah it has still been fun. :) That's what makes me think there really is a medical issue. I haven't been stressed out about it or panicking about ovulation days or anything like that for the past year. I chart, but I"ve been charting for 10 years so it was nothing new.

But now all of a sudden... since a year has passed and I'm turning 35... I freaked out. It caught me off guard since I was so relaxed about the whole thing up until this point. I don't know I just panicked that I'm infertile and it just felt like the end... even though I know realistically it's not.
