Never thought it would come to this...IVF Q's

Never thought it would come to this but after two years+ of ttc with lots of disasters and heartache along the way, I have come to the end of the road for a natural conception

A recent HSG showed that my only remaining fallopian tube is blocked so I guess its IVF for us.

My question is - has anyone considered/gone for IVF abroad? I am drawn towards the scanhealth clinic in Norway.

Money is a little tight as we are also right in the midst of renovating our falling down cottage.

Any advice would be really appreciated- this is all new to me!

PS - I am too old for IVF on the NHS.

hi there, I don't know anything about going abroad but can suggest mumsnet as a place where there are lots of women with experience (if that's ok, to mention another board) who have helped me a lot on my journey.
