Hi I'm Katy and I'm 21 and I've just found out I'm pg again, In November/December I went for my first scan at 10 weeks and found out there was no baby just a sac (they never said it was one but I think it was a Blighted Ovum) and I miscarried naturally a week later I had a bad feeling when I found out I was pg then and it came true, I just got a bfp the first proper cycle after my m/c and I'm terrified of it happening again, I'm scared for when my first scan comes I don't think I have the strength to do the same car journey and walk to the clinic it will bring back bad memories, I'm worried I have a bad feeling again, because I have that feeling does it mean it will happen again? I'm only 4 weeks and 4 days according to my dates, I also did a clearblue digital test and it said I was 3+weeks even though I was supposed to be 2 weeks based on +opk does that mean anything too?

I don't know about those pregnancy tests, I only used a FRER but I can totally understand your fear. However, it is very common for women who have a miscarriage to go on to have totally normal pregnancies. I hope this is it for you.
Could your doctor give you an early scan, maybe at 6 weeks to make sure everything is on track.

I have had 5 very early miscarriages and but now I am 14 weeks pregnant. They nevver found a reason for my losses. With this pregnancy my doctor did hcg blood draws every 2 days for 2 weeks to check my levels were doubling and then when I hit (almost) 6 weeks they did my first scan, and then I had a scan once a week until 10 weeks. It helped me to feel more confident and relieved about this pregnancy having a positive outcome.

Wishing you all the best, and for peace in your heart.

Try to relax. Get bloodwork done to confirm first. Then ask if you can get an early ultrasound to confirm. I had one at 6 weeks and it set my mind at easy when they could see a heartbeat.
Don't assume that because it happened before it will happen again. Good luck!!!
