Hello everyone. My husband and I have been trying for about 5 years now (although for 7 months he was on deployment--so kinda hard to try then). We finally got to a place where we had to decent insurance and were stable enough (I'm done with with Master's degree now) to start seeing a fertility specialist. I got all my blood work done and just had a HSG test on Friday and everything looks good. I had my progesterone tested on cd 21 and it was low (5.6), and my husband's SA came back normal, but a couple of categories were on the low end of normal so he's taking some supplements to boost up everything.
This is the first cycle where we are having some medical intervention (I'm taking progesterone supplements after I ovulate) and then next month I will try Clomid. My doctor said, "It looks like it's time for you guys to go home and make a baby!" I am really hopeful that this is going to bring us our When I got my HSG done, I looked at the ultrasound screen and said "Maybe soon, we will see our baby up there."
It is so hard hoping month after month and then being disappointed. I'm happy I found you guys! I am really liking this forum, I've been part of some others, but I like the atmosphere in here a lot more!
