Hi I'm 25 I've been married since July 2010. My DH (32) and i have been TTC from January this year properly. A couple years ago i was diagnosed with PCOS we had some SA done on my DH and it came back 0 sperm count going for a second on the 22nd this month so we will see what that brings.

I've read some of the posts on here they are so helpful and everyone seems really nice. xx

Welcome Wifeyw!! I'm kind of new here too lol. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS a couple weeks ago. Here's hoping we both get our BFP soon!

Thanks Michellew2525 Welcome to u too. How are you coping with it? i remember i was in tears after finding out. I had mixed emotions Remember thinking I'll not be able to have children. My sister has PCOS and endometriosis shes now pregnant naturally with her second.

Trying to stay positive thinking!

Welcome and I wish you and your DH luck on the 22nd!!!

Welcome MABEL2011 Thank u so much really think we need it, i don't know what to think so anxious right now. Going through every emotion possible. DH doesn't know how to feel trying to stay possitive though. Love the name its the same name as my mum haha how strange!

How have you been with TTC this month?

Actually, I did ok when I found out. I cried because I was happy that they found a reason for not being able to concieve. When we were being told everything was fine for the last four years with no BFP, we just felt so hopeless. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers for a better SA on the 22nd.

MABEL2011 I read abit about you i hope you don't mind through your thread. I've got a question Did they tell you what stage your PCOS is at becuase i read that there were different stages but i don't quite know if thats true. When you had a cycst removed were u in alot of pain before?

Yeah i guess thats how i felt in the end. My DH and I have been together for 8 years coming this year and for about 5 years of that we haven't been careful in those years. I sort thought that something was wrong, after i got told about PCOS i thought it was just me that was the problem and now my DH has no sperm count. Can't wait to get to the end of it.

Have you been on any meds? The last time i went to the gyno was before our wedding in July 2011 which i didn't want to be a pregnant bride so i said i will come back after wedding but whenever i went to my GP to referred me he told me just to do it the natural way. Which i thought was crazy cause obviously it's not worked. He said my DH should get a SA done to rule him out cause its just one test for men. So I'm waitin on these result if they come back the same hopefully GP will refer us to the fertility clinic. Has your Partner got tested?

Michellew2525 DO you have PCOS and endometriosis?

We are actually just a little ahead of you, we've been together for 9 years and we've been married for almost two weeks :) I have an appointment with my Doctor tomorrow to discuss the meds. I'm ready to get this show on the road! My husband was tested 4 years ago and all was well. They do want to re-test him since it's been a couple of years. He will be going in about two weeks for that. I was diagnosed with stage 1 endometriosis 4 years ago and they lasered it off during the lap. I'll be getting an HSG test sometime this month to check for it again. As far as the PCOS, he found 20 cysts on my right ovary and 9 on my left.

Ohh congrats Newer wewley weds :haha: I was going to ask if they would re-test him again thats good. ooo :thumbup:hopefully you will have a BFP soon :happydance:I will be asking your advise on a few things since you are in a similar situation( if you don't mind). GL with it all! How do you feel about IVF process?? Did you have any problems with your first? did you have any signs of endro or PCOS or was it just after your first?

The reason i asked about endro was my sister was diagnosed with PCOS and endro. I'm not quiet sure what stage she was at But they told her to get pregnant to try and ease the symptoms she fell PG within 6 months after having the coil out, that with some weight loss. And now she's PG with no2. She said she thought her endro had cleared up. I think i have it too, I have all of the symptoms I guess when i got for more tests they will find that out. I guess she was one of the lucky ones.
:hugs: I'll be thinking of you and your DH aswell Hope you get the answers you are wanting x

Hello wifeyw, thanks..... it's actually not even my name, I just love what it stands for (Mother's Always Bring Extra Love) and not a problem for looking through my thread, that's what it's there for

As for the PCOS, I was never told I was at a certain stage so I am not sure (I think I will also be looking into that though!). I have had a long history unexplained infertility until recently. I had a cyst which was removed about 8 years ago as well as a polyp (which was very large, filled the cavity) that was removed a few months ago. But I did not feel any pain associated with either of them.

I was told that people who have infertility often develop insulin resistance (not sure if you have been checked out for that, but it does also interfere when ttc).

At least you found that out so thats good! I get alot of pain which i thought were from cyst but i'm thinkin it might be endrometriosis I'm going to ask Dr next time i see him or if we are referred to a specialist then it might be looked into. I had looked into inslin resistance abit but i will more Thanks.

Baby dust :hugs:

Oh and I LOVE the MABEL meanings :-D

Do you have a FS appointment yet? or will you be discussing that on the 22nd as well??? BTW, there is treatment for Azoospermia in most cases  but hopefully there was just an error and he really has a high count!!!!

Will be wishing you guys luck

No MABEL2011 We don't have a FS yet I'm thinking after this test they will If not i'll be asking to be referred anyway. I've read lots on what happens if it's the same result and that so i know alittle about azoospermia WE are hoping its an error too Sooo nerve wrecking it helps knowing a couple of couple whos going through it too. Its not as straight forward if it turns out low as DH has had a kidney transplant so theres meds that he can't take or vitamins etc.

Thank you means alot :dust: to you

Feel free to ask me anything you'd like! I've actually never had IVF, but if that's what I would have to do, I would definitely do it. The only kids we have are the ones with 4 legs:haha: I see my Doctor today so I will ask about the PCOS stages. The only way the confirmed my PCOS was by doing a transvaginal ultrasound. When do you get to visit with your Doctor?
