New Year's Resolutions

do you have any??

Mine is to:

stop eating chocolate any chance I have and to introduce more healthier food in the diet for the sake of the baby. I mean, I do eat pretty healthy at the point (being a vegetarian, that is), but I don't wanna add on the pounds just because I am pregnant and I have the right to eat for two.

Am I being sensible with this resolution?

sounds like a good resolution to me...

Mine will probably be something like losing all the baby weight I've gained by the Holidays next year .... and according to the lactation consultants at my work I should be able to accomplish it with all the breastfeeding I will be doing  !!

I've got pretty much the same resolution, stop eating so much junk food and get back to cooking from scratch again. I'm vegetarian like you, actually I went from vegan to vegetarian just before I found out I was pregnant! Planning on going back to vegan a couple of months after the baby is born.

That whole 'eating for two' saying is rubbish, we only need to increase our calorie intake by a few hundred for the baby and I think a reasonable weight gain is a pound a week.

Seems sensible to me :D

I am really scared that I will baloon up to the standard 1 lb a week, so I really wanna try to control my weight from now on. I think the baby has received enough "goodies" from me by now.
I would love to see my weight go down by a few lbs before the baby is born.

oh and p.s. my stupid ticker is wrong because i am due april 17, just like you, and whenever i change it, it just automatically goes back...grrr.

Mine is to stick with breast feeding, no matter how hard it might be..and to not use drugs during L&D unless deemed medically necessary..
