Hi Girlies!

I am new to 2nd Tri, so pleased to be here too.:happydance:

Just have a few questions for you if you can help at all, that would be a HUGE relief - I am a tad confused (doesnt take much though TBH:blush:)

When do you get the MATB1 form, from the Midwife?

When do you can the free prescription/denitst thingy - and who off? My gums are bleeding so badly at the mo (so attractive) I went for a scan on Friday and kinda expected they would give me it there, but I was too exited after seeing my baby - I forgot to ask about it:dohh:

Oh also anyone else have touble giving blood? before pregnancy I had no problems giving blood, but after my scan they tried to take what looked like a few pints of blood out of me :wacko:and i wouldn give them a drop...they tried both arms and i have two almighty bruises on each but nothing! I am being sent to the Hospital tommorow morning to try again - Yikes!

Anyway THANK YOU for reading this and if you can help me out, that would be great. If not thanks anyway, and Hello! it is so lovely to be here! :flower:

You can get your Matb1 form from your midwife any time after 20 weeks, they usually will give it to you after your 20 week scan. I got given mine by the midwife at the hospital clinic so shes not my usual midwife but she did it for me anyway.
Your midwife should have got you to fill out the free prescription and dental care form when you first went to visit her i have had mine from about 7 weeks pregnant! So definitely ask her about this as it is fantastic to get all your dental care free! But don't worry about bleeding gums its sooooo common in pregnancy!

Welcome to 2nd tri!

Hey hun!

MATB1 form you get from midwife after 20 weeks. I'm having to arrange a special appt just to get it cos after your 16wk appt you don't usually have one till 25wks, well that it is how it is for me :D

Free prescriptions, you should have already filled out the form with your midwife. I think I had mine way before thirteen weeks so I would give them a call!

As for giving blood, I can't help! I have massive veins that nurses always love, good luck at the hospital x
