Hello :]

For those of you who wanted to know how I got on, Sorry I did not reply quickly.
It's been a tough / confusing time. :/
So, as you know, I was having various pregnancy symptoms.
I took a test.. Negative.
Yet the symptoms carried on.
I went to the doctors, but she told me that I had probably just messed up my cycle -
And told me to take another urine test. I asked for blood work but she would not until I had a positive urine test.
So anyway, weeks have been and still, there was no positive. I was starting to think there was something really wrong with me.
My mum got annoyed that i was still claiming to have these symptoms (She really does not want me pregnant), and so she booked me in
but with a different doctor this time.
I am pregnant.
I don't know by how far yet, because, like I said in my last post, i had been bleeding randomly a lot. I bled for three weeks straight in the end.. it was just a blob a day, but thats what made me eventually start thinking i was just assuming i was pregnant and worrying so much that i saw symptoms!!
Scans and blood work need to be done soon because obviously they need to figure out an approximate date - and since i dont really know
when my last real period was.. I'm a bit useless!
I'm not really sure what I'm going to do; I've just left my last year of school and was hoping to look for a job.
My boyfriend and I want a flat together in the near future.. but if i have this baby i'm not even sure i could do that. "/
If anyone else has worked around that kind of thing, which im sure many of you have, then advice would be greaty appreciated.

thank you all for your concerns. xo

well first of all...congratulations on your pregnancy!
i'm not in your exact situation because i wanted to go uni rather than go for a job. but, i know there's so much help for you out there. income support- definetly not saying you should live off it, but it will give you some help with finance. there must be somewhere in your area that helps teen mums with things like getting jobs and continuing education, etc?? im sure you can work around this, there's so much help so take advantage of it!

Congratulations! I'm still pregnant with my first baby, I'm 15 and working; going back to school next year though, but I guess I'm not much help here since I'm still working on my own life. I do however know that there are a ton of support groups/services that you can use and that would help you if you're a teenage mother, do you have independant living where you live? You might be broke for awhile, but eventually it would work itself out.

I'm still confused.....

So your pregnancy test was still negative and yet you say you are pregnant??

Did you already see that new doctor?? Is that who told you you are pregnant? Or have you yet to see the new doctor your mom wanted you to go to??

Thank you all.

Cinderella, I have answered you in a pm so as not to go through it all again in this post :p

Well congrats on your pregnancy!

I mean,I know that the first weeks are very confusing but once you work things out you'll be very excited.

I don't know where you live.If you're in UK I can't really offer you some advice since I don't know how it works there...but I know that the support is great so I'm sure you'll be fine, people have gotten through it before...

Good luck xxx
