Next maternity clothes

Hey girls, I'm looking at getting some maternity clothes from Next, can anyone advice me on how they come up size wise. I'm not the smallest person in the world, about a 22, I know they say to order your normal size, but just want to see how they come up in rel life!

I'm a pre preg size 24/26 and 22 is really generous and fits me with room to spare... Hope this helps. x

I am a 16-18 and find that the tops are roomy as are the waistbands obviously but I find then that the legs are a little tight on some but certainly have not bought any bigger as not gaining weight as mich as previously so bump getting bigger without legs and bum growing too

im a 16-18 before pregnancy and the 16's fit me fine and the 18s are way to big, I think next sizes are generous.

I bough size 16 maternity trousers, they brilliantly comfy with a nice large comfy waits band that goes up to just under my boobs, its so soft i love it!

The only downside is that even now they r slightly big especially around the front of thighs and lower abdomen, its ok if i pull them higher which is ok as i guess my bump will grow into that area, theyve been too big until now but they r soooo comfy now and despite the slight flaw i love them!

I'm a 14 and i've found that the tops in a 14 fit me fine but i've needed to go down a size in their bottoms. x

I've not bought their maternity trousers but I found that the tops matched what I expected (size 14). I bought jeans from there pre-pregnancy and they seemed a bit bigger than normal.

i have just recieved mine from next and had to get a size smaller in the jeans range, it makes me feel great wearing a smaller size while pregnant

I think I may go for a size smaller in trousers then (to make me feel better if nothing else) as I don't carry much weight on my bum and hips and even normal trousers hang off them! And I'm sure the waist will stretch nicely to accommodate bump! Tops I'll prob stick to normal size to allow boobage! Thankyou for your help, so much easier to hear it from people who are going through it!

Pre-pregnancy i was a 16 top and a 14 bottom. Next maternity clothes, i find are pretty generous, especially their bottoms. In their maternity range i am a 14/16 top and a 12 bottom. It was actually rediculous how big the 14 maternity trousers and jeans were on me!!

Who would of thought being pregnant would mean you can wear smaller clothes!

I found their stuff really large, especially in the trousers. My main problem has been the quality. A pair of jeans from there, the bump part split when I pulled them up, and a cardigan developed a hole after one wash. Not good!

I actually remember buying a pair of jersey widelegs in their maternity wear a few years back and pre-pregnancy i am a 14 usually. Well i have to agree, they were massive and ended up returning them for a 12. thought they may have sorted their sizing out by now..but clearly not!
I just dont ever find mat jeans comfortable. The under the bump ones annoy you and the ones with the elastic are fine but fall down and as you get bigger the stiff denim bit can start to dig in to the bottom of your bump. I think the comfiest ever thing is leggings. You just cannot beat that complete stretch right over.

I love Next, their sizes are generous, I was a size 8 everywhere but there-I was a 6 YAY lol and they do nice shorty stuff and it's the only place I can buy jeans where they fit on the waist, bum AND legs for Next
