My LO has outgrown his bouncer chair. He loved that chair so much and I'm really struggling to get him liking other things in the house.

We have a bumbo, rocking chair, playmat, high chair but he refuses to use anything. I have a jumperoo but I only let him use a few times a day as I would worry about the weight on his legs.

Is there a bouncer for bigger babies you can get? I'm at my wit's end as he gets so frustrated in the house and I struggle to keep him happy all day

Kiddicare.com have some bouncers for older babies I think.
Thing is, when they get stronger and more mobile, LO leaning forward and tipping over / climbing out can be a potential problem. Ruby flung herself out of the bumbo earlier in the week so I'm just using her highchair now :(

Megan is at an inbetween stage & think its easier for babies to be bored at this stage. Megan still fits in her bouncer but it doesnt amuse her like it used to. She plays on her playmat gym- she'll protest when I put her down but if I distract her & make it sound really fun by talking all excited she'll stop protesting and play! She will play on a blanket on the floor but prefers to be on her tummy on it vs. her back. She was rolling from front to back but hasnt done it in a few weeks - think cause she doesnt really want to be on her back! She just started using her highchair which she likes for only short amount of time - likes the novelty of being up higher but she gets annoyed quick with it. She is bored with her crib mobile but doesnt really want to hold onto toys yet to play with them. (Only her blankets!) She loves kicking her feet and she realized yesterday she can push off me with her feet to fling herself backwards! She has a "piano" toy that you can attach to the crib that she kicks the keys and it plays music - she loves that! She is too short yet for her jumperoo (short legged girl) so that is sitting and waiting for her to grow another inch or 2. She doesnt really like her bumbo much - would rather stand up so tries to get out of it - so I cant even move my hands from her when she's in it - so whats the point!

Hmmm I never thought of that. Anytime I put him in anything he screams to get out :/

If he won't sit in the highchair, what else can I set him down in? He has literally cried for 2 days and I think *hope* its just lots and lots of frustration :/

(Going to the docs later on today just to check)

Where is the piano toy from? That sounds interesting and might make him want to sit in his highchair for a bit longer than normal!

Have you tried putting a cushon under her feet in the jumperoo thats what we do she doesnt jump yet but loves to 'stand' there and stare at the toys

We have the fisher price newborn-toddler rocker and its great, Sienna grew out of her bouncy chair so this seemed to be the ideal next thing x

babybug - We tried a pillow but it wasnt enough to make her realize she could stand up- she'd just still hang there... also tried yellow pages but her feet slip right off! LOL Wasnt sure what else to try - or if I need a different kind of pillow?

I found mine at Target.... but found this link first. You can either attach it to your crib - it has strings in the back for their feet or can be pushed with their hands & have it not attached.

I have the Fisher-Price Infant to Toddler Rocker and my LO loves it. He had a regular bouncer first and hated it. He would rather rock than bounce. I added a link to show you.
