How often does your LO wake to feed at night and how many months is s/he? My little one is a month and he still wakes up every two hours at night to eat, talk about very exhausting. Hoping to hear this gets better.

I'm not there yet with this one, but with my first he ate every 1-2 hours for the first 2 months, then 2-3 hours for months 3-5, and then we were at 4 hours until he was a year. But this was also a bit of my choice- I believed in feeding on demand at that age and was not ready to start trying to structure him until he was a year. My sis who was not so fond of waking up all night long was able to get hers on a 4-6 hour schedule at night pretty early on.

We are now down to usually once during the night although somesimes twice but last night although she was only up once it was for 2 hours!

Juleika is six month, sleeps from approx 7pm to 6am and feeds 3 times in between, but I think it's not for hunger, I think it's more for comfort :baby:

Keira eats at 10PM and wakes up sometime between 2-3AM for another feeding and then sleeps till 7AM...How did I get so lucky!!??

oh thats not good hun im having the same problem and find it so tiering, my baby is 3 weeks old sleeps for about 4 hours earlyish evening so seems to wake up for a feed at about 1am usually is only awake about a hour then gets up again at about 4ish but can be awake for about 2 hours at this time so i get so tierd then is back up again about 7.30-8am and usually wants to stay awake for hours again so i have to get up at this time which leave me really tired xxx

It's great to know I'm not the only one. Pierre is a week younger I think and he is feeding every 2 hours. Sometimes more. Because I've been so ill I've been told to give plenty of formula feeds too but seeing that I'm by far not the only one with a demanding baby, I don't see why!

We've been so lucky too - Sam goes to sleep at about 9, we take him upstairs with us at 12ish and I feed him again then, and he'll sleep until our alarm goes off at 8 :D

He is awake ALL day though so I don't get much done!

I've noticed my little guy now likes comfort feeds at night because when he wakes up he will only eat for 5-10 minutes and fall back asleep for 1-3 hours.

Valerie is a big fan of the comfort feeds, lol. I swear this is the only reason she wakes up throughout the night. I'm happy to feed her for 5 minutes for comfort as long as she goes back to sleep! :)

We have been lucky, so far. I feed her about 11 she wakes up about 3 and eats then will sleep until about 6:30. I hope it at least stays this way!

My Sharlotte is about a week old and has cluster fed from about 10pm to 3am. Then she'll sleep until about 8am or a little later.

It will get better :) Babies tend to find a routine around 6-8 weeks... after the last newborn growth spurt.

From 1-2 months my lil one would wake very 2 hours
At 3 months she would wake every 3-4 hours
Now she sleeps for about 5-6 hours before waking for a feeding.

Seth is only 4 days old, but since he was born he's fed pretty much every 2 1/2 - 3 hours for 20 minutes at a time. We held off feeding him for an hour last night so we could feed him at like 9, 12, 3 and 6 so it wasn't too bad.

Hope it gets better for you soon :(
