nipple flow

my lo is 5 1/2 months. Just wondering when i should change the nipple all I have now is the slow flow. If you use the faster flow is it bad if you breastfeed will it make them want the bottle to get the milk faster?

I was told by a lactation consultant that breast fed babies don't need to go to any faster nipple than slow flow. My LO still has slow flow and does fine with them.

thanks I won''t worry bout it then thought he might eat more he is so nosey he doesn't eat but once at the babysitters too many other kids to watch

Mine doesn't eat as much at daycare either. I wouldn't worry unless he's not gaining weight.

My 6mo still uses the slow flow. She gags if they are faster! I think its baby by baby after a while...
