I have been taking frer every couple days and always see a progression. At 16 dpo the test line was slightly darker than the control. Today(second morning urine) it was the same as 16 dpo, no progression. I took it again with 3rd morning urine and the control line is every so slightly lighter than the last test, but test line looks the same. is this a really bad sign, or does frer only progress to this? I have seen other pics where the control line turns super light and mine isn't like this :(

I wouldn't keep testing with frers if I were you, when they get as dark as the control line you don't see much progression. The fact you had a nice dark line with one is a great sign! When I miscarried I only every had super faint test lines - so don't worry about anything like that.

When I was doing progression tests I used the internet cheapies, one everyday after holding my wee for 3-4 hours. They showed great progression (although the lines are quite faint on the cheapies compared to frers in the early days). I stopped testing when I reached 5 weeks and did a clear blue which said 3+. I also heard you can get 'the hook effect' where your hcg is so high that the test has trouble reading it and produces a faint line - I thought that would freak me if I carried on testing so I stepped away from the sticks. x

Frer are terrible for this hun, I wouldn't waste your money on them if I'm honest :hugs:

Wss^^^

If you've had a nice dark frer then after that they don't work as well!

Mine didn't change colour at all after 16dpo! I have attached my pic from 19 + 21dpo with my beta numbers on. One thing I learnt thus pregnancy is you can't tell if your hcg is rising by the colour of your frer line! I'm sure all is fine. Please step away from the tests

Thank you so much ladies. I have been in tears seeing other people's progressions and the control turning super faint at about 17 dpo. This gives me some hope! I did have slight progression on my wondfo's, which strangely were pretty crappy at progression in the beginnng. Thanks so much ladies.

Mine were horrendous 11-13dpo, all exactly the same which set me off worrying as well. Never ever using FRER for progression again!

My test line on a FRER didn't get darker than the control until around 5 weeks.

Mine stayed the same 11-13dpo. I didn't get a battery there control line until 26dpo
