I dropped my fricking steriliser in the sink and now it wont switch on!! Bad timing with the screaming, hungry baby!

To use the boiling method, I take it you just put the clean bottles in a dish with boiling water for ten mins or so?

You have to boil it in a saucepan for 10 mins. The water has to be boiling for the whole 10 mins.

Yep, in a saucepan. My guidelines said for at least 5 mins, but I always leave longer.

i leave it for about 10min. i do that when im at MIL or my mums house x

Get some Milton tablets for just such emergencies (for next time obviously!) - stuff ready in 15mins and no need to rinse!

My steriliser came with some milton tablets, I guess for emergencies like these.
