My bump definitely dropped yesterday. My OH commented on it as soon as he walked in from work last night. I'm 99% sure I've lost my plug now as well. As you may know from other posts of mine I've been in and out of hospital with threatened labour since 27 weeks so I just wanted some reassurance really??

I've heard that the mucus plug regenerates itself. I would call your dr. If you have any doubts.

Call your midwife for some reassurance hun :hugs:

My bump dropped at 32 weeks and the plug can regenerate xxx

If they examine you can they tell that your plug has gone?

I'm off to see the mw later this morning. Keep your fingers crossed we can keep LO baking for a bit longer

Well the community midwife was no help! She didn't even want to palpate in case she set anything off.

I've now started getting some pretty strong pains which start at the bottomnof my back then come all round my hips and to the bottom of my bump. My bump goes hard at the same time. Could this be it?

If it is chick they can stop it and give the little one steriods incase bubs decides to come, I went into preemie labour and they managed to stop it twice and I had lost my plug! Its back now! If your seriously concerned call the labour ward xxx

I've already had the steroids so if it's coming then theyve told me they won't stop it again. I'll ring the hospital if they get closer together. They're about 15-20mins at the moment and vary in intensity.

I'd maybe call l&d for some advice. They may want you in to monitor you and baby. Good luck :flower: xxx

I really don't want to go back down there :(. I know how selfish that sounds and I absolutely want to do the right thing for baby. I just hate the hospital and from my last 2 admissions they won't do anything anyway. I can feel plenty if movements too. If anything changes then I'll be straight on the phone I promise!

Oh good luck hon! I know how annoying it is when you go there and they don't seem to do anything, but if you are contracting your choices are pretty limited.....

Hope all goes well for you and LO xx
