Hi All!

Hope everything is going well for everyone so far this month! Based on OPKs I think I'm 1dpo today but I will find out if I keep getting temp rises over the next couple of days. 2WW is the worst!! I was hoping I could start eating junk food and pop again but apparently you need to keep your body healthy to promote implantation. Anyone do anything to try to help during the 2ww? I read something about eating pineapple?

SweetPea----I've read that bromelain (which is in the pineapple esp. the core) helps the lining for implantation.


AFM...I received the results from my progesterone test today & it's 41.2!!!! This drug is something special!

I have no idea what that means but that's great!! Can you tell me a little bit about the progesterone test? Obviously 41.2 is a good number, but what's the range? Does that mean that you for sure ovulated?? I go for my test on Friday so I guess it'd be good to know!

You can actually purchase bromelain supplements if you can't find pineapple. My unmedicated cycle results was under 10(not good). That's why I'm so excited about the increase! I believe doctors want at least 15 when on a medicated cycle.

Hi!

Just to let you ladies know I took my last clomid tablet yesterday I took it CD 2-6 Im CD7 today

I was wondering what sympotms you ladies has I didnt really have much, I felt queezy/sick about 1-2 hours after taking my clomid, And on he 4th day I took it and as soon as I took it like 5 mins after I was heaving and trying not to be sick!! and felt my heart in my head and my chest, maybe this is classed as slightly dizzy? It went after about half and hour and I were fine. Im worried its not worked as I didnt suffer many sdie affects.

But today at CD7 I keep needing to go to the bathroom more, and last night while me and OH were everything felt more sensitive up there than normal.. sorry tmi I know...

I dont know how to feel right now. I felt really down and sad a few days ago so im guessing that could be clomid related, felt emotional and that being without the OH all day felt worse. Im not sure about mood swings but I not really noticed it myself

Im not feeling positive even though i been on Metformin too for months and that give me regular af around 35 days or so....

Sorry that you've been feeling down SarahLou, Clomid can definitely do that to you. I took mine right before bed so I didn't feel anything but hot flashes, which I normally feel during AF anyways. Yesterday, CD21 I had an awful headache that lasted all day long. Apparently this could be due to a progesterone raise after O so I'm taking it as a good sign!!

For now I would say, keep busy and try to distract yourself from the negative thoughts that clomid puts in your head, and keep BDing!! GL

Good luck, Sarahlou- we're cycle twins! I also took Clomid from CD2-6 and am on CD7 today. I feel like I might have been more emotional than usual, but I wasn't sure if it was AF still lingering. I feel more impatient than usual as well, which is weird as for the last two cycles, I haven't had a positive OPK until CD23-24, so normally at this point, I'd be waiting ages to ovulate! I'm hoping with the Clomid it happens next week though. I've been on Metformin too (50mg in March and then 100mg since April), and it wasn't until I went up to 100mg I started having real periods since being off the pill in July 2013.

I think this might be a wasted chance for us though because OH's father has terminal cancer and probably only has a few days left, so it's not going to be a good month for baby making.

Wow Fezzle, I'm sorry to hear about your father-in-law! That must be tough I normally ovulate anywhere from CD21-CD25 and this cycle I O'd on CD18 so only a couple of days earlier than usual. I did feel that it was quite strong though!

I totally know what you guys means about being impatient, sometimes I have to stop myself from spinning into a pit of TTC despair. It's hard right?! Just keep telling yourself it will happen when the time is right!! We'll all be getting our BFP's soon, I'm sure of it! GL

Look what I got today at CD 13!

I should be ovulating any day now I am using the new clear blue digitial ones and the flashing smiley face came up!! Meaning high fertilty so keep testing for the solid smiley face then it literally ovulation time!

Got a spotty chin, aching breasts and achey cramps. Also m CM been very watery for the past few days. Not far off ovulation

AFM---Having my 2nd longest lp....my longest one was my pregnancy! Not testing yet....will probably get blood & progesterone tests done to avoid false results....

I had my scan last night and have a 17mm follicle and good lining according to the nurse- she said that was fantastic and that I'm responding to the Clomid exactly how I should be. I got my first flashing smiley yesterday, and even though I've had over a week of flashing smileys before the solid one the last two (non-Clomid) cycles, I think I'll ovulate today or tomorrow. Unfortunately also in the next day or two, OH's father is most likely going to pass away, so we're up here sleeping in their living room with nurses coming in and out and not really in the 'mood', so it's probably going to be a wasted cycle regarding the Clomid- other than knowing it works!

After testing twice yesterday at CD13 and getting two flashing smiley faces on my ovulation test, I woke up this morning CD14 and I have my solid smiley face!!! ... Looks like ovulation is around 12-36 hours away now!



But im a bit upset me and OH didn't last night.. however we did bed the night before and plan to tonight too do you ladies think I till stand a chance of catching that egg???

We bed so far and these days... CD 3,4,6,7,8, twice on CD 10, and once CD 11 & 12 but we missed last night at CD 13 when I got my flashing faces. Im defiently tonight though

If you BD tonight too, I'd say you're definitely covered! I've seen people only BD once 4 days before ovulation and get a BFP.

Yes! This was my 1st clomid cycle! It was 50 mg on CD 2-7.

Piper- so pleased for you, and also so happy to see the success of Clomid!

I finally got my solid smiley this morning (CD15), but since the nurse said I had a 17mm follie on Monday night that was really to pop out in the next couple days, I'm don't think it'll be long to ovulate if I haven't already. OH and I did it Tuesday night and will try again tonight or tomorrow morning. We're still sleeping in his mum's living room until Friday though!

Can you ladies help me.... The other day I posted because OH was to well enough to bed with me at CD 13, 14 and 15 well im CD 16 today and my cheap internet ovulation test is positive!

But my clearblue digital had a solid smiley face on cd14!! Whats happening?? Also went to the loo just and when I wipe its still watery but loads of EWCM now, some is clear some a cream colour sorry tmi

And OH has been diagnosed with gastroenteritis tummy bug!! Been sick for two days now.. so we only bed on these days so far... CD 3,4,6,7,8 twice on CD10 and once CD 11 & 12. But I got a flashing smiley face on my clearblue CD 13 morning and afternoon, and the cheapie was negative, CD 14 got a solid smiley face and a negative cheapie. Yesterday CD15 negative cheapie.. and today... CD 16 positive cheapie opk! What??!
