Normal Days For Clomid?

I hope you get an early Christmas present!

Hi ladies :hi: Congratulations Fezzle!!!! Great news :hugs:

Sorry its been a few weeks since I posted here last but Ive been a little down as my first round of clomid failed... Im on CD 44 now and no af as arrived either... I also have tested loads of days since CD28 and I have tested again today and :bfn:

....... :sad2::sad2:

But rung the gynae unit today as they wanted me to be in touch if I reach CD44 and no af arrives and my pregnancy tests is :bfn: So i rang in and they want me to class today as CD 1 again (not CD44 anymore) and start my clomid again tomorrow at CD 2 but this time to do 100mg! Im scared becasue I had so many side affects after finishing 50mg 8-[

I was sure with all my symptoms and my spotting that I ovulated and caught that egg... but must off been the side affects of the clomid. Im really scared right now of feeling poorly again... I went for a scan on the 1st december too and nothing there just all looks the same as before :(

Sarah, I had the exact same issue as you... no AF, and unable to be sure when I ovulated. My doctor did progesterone to clomid, which apparently is a common thing. She gave me to until July 1st to start, and when it did not I took the progesterone for the next 10 days. On Day 11 AF arrived, and then I was able to start clomid.

I think the progesterone helped regulate my cycle, because I had no issues with AF starting after the progesterone. Pregnant on the 3rd round of clomid.

I am 35, btw.

Good luck to you!

Sorry you've ended up in limbo! That must be really frustrating!

Even though my first cycle on Clomid was successful with conception, it appears to have not been our time. I started bleeding last night, and no sac was found on a scan this morning. We're taking this cycle to recover, then trying Clomid again the next time.

pansorie-- do you take progesterone or provera to start your AF? it's always been my understanding that progesterone prevents AF. By the way, Congratulations on your pregnancy!

sarahlou & sweetpea---hope this cycle results in a healthy & happy pregnancy!

fezzle---sent you a PM

Thanks piper!! I also took provera to start off this cycle. It does prevent AF I guess but it causes a withdrawal bleed right after you stop. At least that's how my doc explained it to me. Seemed to work well! Waiting for my HCG blood test on Thursday. So nervous!
