Not feeling any movement for over 1 week

Thanks, sounds soft I know, but I am happy. If it makes her happy, its makes me happy.

Awww - soppy is never a bad thing!

lol, my friends think it is. They rip into me all the time. But to be honest I don't care.

I haven't had symptoms apart from tiredness since week 14ish so I wouldn't worry about lack of symptoms :)

If you are concerned call MW or hospital. That's what they're there for after all :) If you don't want to upset your wife maybe do it in another room, or just explain to her you want to check to put your mind at rest, better to check than ignore it :)

She does drink some cold drinks, but she hardly sits still. I feel like I have to chain her down (not in a kinky way) She always wants to help with dinner, washing up, cleaning etc. But when she does relax she doesn't feel anything.

I went through that a few weeks ago...that's when I started poking her to make sure she was still alive in there lol. Now that I think about it, baby might be going through a growth spurt around 19 or 20 weeks. Around that time, bubs is usually not as active as their using their energy to grow instead...if she drinks cold drinks, make sure she lies down for a little bit afterward. If she just gets up and starts moving then baby gets rocked to sleep.

My OH is just like you lol...every time I want to get up to help him do something, he always tells me to go sit down or to lay down and rest lol.

Doesn't matter what your friends think... my husband is in the army and his friends always moan at him for being soft or 'gay' or not coming out without me.... He just doesn't like going out without me as much as going out with me... It's nice to have a husband that's sweet... I'm sure your wife thinks the same!! :) don't know about your friends, but my husbands friends are mostly single or cheating on their wives/girlfriends, so I just think: they don't know what it's like to really love someone!! :)

ps. when my husband buys me flowers they always ask him what he's done to make up for with flowers.... :S

Hello I am almost 20 weeks I find that if I go for a nice long walk or I am more active during the day... then after when I have a rest or put my feet up baby is more active and begins to kick..but like the others have said I wouldn't worry if the pregnancy has been pretty normal! :winkwink:
