Not felt much movement today

Hi we have had quite a busy day today and once I had sat down etc i realised that I had not felt him move much today at all. He was moving loads yesterday but then i was resting up most of the afternoon so I noticed it more. I hope he is just having a quiet day today but can't help but worry. I'm 23 weeks xx

It happens. I notice the more active I am, the more he sleeps.

Same with me. I had a couple of really quiet days but felt kicks in my back and bum. I'm assuming baby has turned round now as I'm getting belly kicks again today.

I wouldn't worry. I'm a few weeks behind you but I notice that when I'm busy and up and about I don't notice the movements either. I only really notice baby moving when I'm still or not moving so much.

At 23 weeks your baby is still small and can be in any position. Plus I've read that when you're moving around, your movements can rock the baby to sleep.

I always believed this to be true, when your busy and on your feet baby will be rocked to sleep by the movement. Try resting for a while and having something to eat and drink. Hopefully then you lo will give you a reassuring kick or two!

Thanks everyone feel much better now. going to have a rest up now with a few biscuits hopefully that will get him moving xx

Same here lots of movement yesterday but quieter today. Just having a chill out with a cold drink which should get the little lady moving x

Try having a cold drink and some chocolate and lie down on your left side, should feel something then. If not, always worth a little belly jiggle lol. Then if nothing give your mw a wee phone x
