Not homebirthing this time but need advice

I have homebirthed successfully in the past but will not be for my current pregnancy due to complications.

My question has to do with Medicaid. I will be signing up with Medicaid to cover this pregnancy. Does anybody know how invasive Medicaid is with maternity care?

I mean do they want to come to your house and "help" you and your family adjust to your pregnancy and later your newborn?

Are they watching and monitoring you every step of the way?

I am mostly concerned about home "visits" as I find this invasive and controlling and it seems like some programs do this.

Has anyone had experience with medicaid in the past?
