Hi,
I'm nearly 19 week pregnant with my 3rd child and i was wondering if it means anything if I'm pretty much not feeling any movement. I felt a kick or 2 the other night when in bed then nothing. I had 2 boys and it felt like they had been doing star jumps in my stomach for as early as 13/14 weeks. I'm just a little worried that i sould be feeling more movement.

do you know if your placenta is at the front or back? mine is at the front again and Iv only felt the odd little shove from baby nothing regular. Also mine likes to lie sideways so thats another reason i might not feel much right now. This is my third too x

I'm not sure were my placenta is :nope: I have my 18-20 week ultrasound in a couple of days so I'm going to ask then. Yeah i felt a little at the sides and my last ultrasound the baby was sideways.

I'm in the same boat you are in...third child hardly any movement. I might feel a tap or two but that's about it. I'm 20 weeks and have my scan tomorrow. I haven't had a scan since 7 weeks so no telling where the placenta is.

It sounds quite normal to me, they're still relatively small at that stage and the position of your placenta plays a part too, personally I've been feeling hardly anything.

I was in the same boat as you ladies until I turned 20 weeks. My placenta is anterior and my baby is laying across my belly but I can feel teeny tiny kicks everyday now on my right side. My placenta is a little more to the left and on every ultrasound she is laying with her face on the placenta, so I know it's her little feet I feel on the right.

Just posted the same thing! Also my 3rd baby and not really having much movement that I can even positively claim. I think I'm just being impatient! Baby is still small and every pregnancy is different.

Me too, im 18wks with my 3rd and i felt the first flutters almost 3 wks ago but they have not gotten stronger/more regular. I might only feel something every few days if im lying completely still and concentrating ! Im curious about placenta too, i have a scan in about 10 days so we'll see.

I just barely started feeling movement and I'm 21 weeks with my third baby!!!! Placenta is anterior low so it's very hard. Can't them yet but I feel it sometimes...

Ended up having a scan for a bleed yesterday. Luckily everything's fine but happened to see in my notes that placenta is posterior and high so no explanation for my lack of movement there anyway. 3rd baby and 18w 2d here!

I'm the same...4th baby and not too much movement, will be 20 weeks tomorrow. My placenta is anterior which I find stressful (it was anterior with my last pregnancy too) as the movements are more masked. I'm sure everything is fine though...baby is still quite small at this stage :)
