Hey girls :)

Well I've been TTC no 1 for 6 months now and despite Dr's saying alls fine I'm still not having regular periods and no obvious O signs :(

I'm so stressed out with the temping and charting and everything and every time I speak to my family I get "so are you pregnant yet?", Just because it was soo easy for them!!!!

And my friends I feel don't understand, they all either have kids or don't want kids, I have noone to talk to really about this despite my OH being fully supportive about it.

I try so much to put on a brave face and laugh it off, but it hurts so much -- I just want a regular period and obvious O so that I don't feel like all our tryings in vain :(

Hi

Didnt want to read and run!

I know how u feel with irregular periods.

Have you seen a doc and had blood and ultra sounds yet, thats the first thing they did with me?

I am new at it so i dont have any advice but i hope you get your BFP soon!!!!!!

Lots of hugs and Baby Dust to you xoxo

Hello!

I didn't want to read and run. The whole ttc process is very emotionally draining.. and no one will understand what we are going through unless they have had issues ttc.

I have been ttc for 9 months now.. finally cried my way in to see the infertility doc.. with a result of "unexplained infertility". I certainly can relate to your frustration. I too temped for many months...that can be frustrating in itself!

Hang in there.. this is a difficult process. Sending baby dust your way!! This is a great place to voice your frustrations! I certainly took advantage of it the first few months of ttc.. but had to take a break from it .. as I felt it was stressing me out even more!

Take Care!!

I've just done initial blood tests for ovulation check and first signs but they all came back normal - after discussing it with partner we decided to keep as is for now and to go for further tests if still no success by 12 months.

I hate that diagnosis AnnetteCali - it gives you absolutely no closure/hope and no clue as to where to go next :(

My Sil had IVF treatments to concieve her first child but I don't feel I can approach her for advice as we don't have that close a relationship yet due to not seeing each other very often - we do get on very well but I don't know how she'd react if I asked her about it - if that makes sense.

I am very close to quitting all forms of charting and OPK's and temps and sticking purely to folic acid and hope.

Thanks for the replies girls XXX

:dust:

it can take a perfectly fertile couple 12 months pluss to conceive so i wouldnt worrie to much 6 months is only 6 eggs but worrying will make things much harder i have been ttc for 11 months now so i know how frustrating it is :(
what are your cycles what do you class as irregular????
you will get your bfp for some of us it just takes a little time :dust:

Thats the problem though honey - in the 6 months we have been trying I have only had 3 periods :( and they are completely different lengths each time so I have no clue as to whats going on there.

I also have a few medical conditions that "could" effect it - Dr's arent sure yet as its a relatively new condition so very little research so far. Add on to that the medication I need to take daily that is supposed to be ok while TTC and pregnant but could again still have sideeffects :(

Its the unsurety I can't cope with :(

awwww sweety it does sound linke your having a tough time have you had a look into angus castus its a naturel suppliment to regulate cycles, i suppose there is always uncertinty only a luck few can decide they want a baby and then be pregnant a week later the whole ttc game is soooo hard for a woman to cope with but i will pray that you get your bfp very soon if you ever need to talk you can private msg me got my f x for you :dust:

Calasen - Can I ask, how did you get your doc to do bloods and check you over etc? I am the same with the irregular cycles they are quite long aswell though, i have tried with the docter and basically got told to go away and wait cos it takes time and that day I was actually in floods of tears in his office, think I was at about the 6 month mark then. I have made an appt for Thursday coming and I have already told DH that I am not leaving the doc office until he does something to help us (even if it is just to regulate and shorten my periods to give us as good a chance as anyone else!) any words of advise at how you got them to help you would be greatly appreciated x

I just have a very good Dr I guess honey :( I have to see him regularly for the other condintion that can be really badly aggrivated by stress so they make sure if I am starting to stress to do best to help relieve it :(

Thanks for replying! well I will just have to stand strong on Thursday! wish me luck !

Calasen hun I feel for you it is so frustrating not having a regular cycle.
I went off BC in November and only had AF for the first time this month so it took over 5 months just to get AF once who knows if I am ovulating! Anyway this wasn't a reply to talk about me lol. I honestly believe that AF came back becasue of accupuncture it can regulate your cycles, it is really good for stress as well and you can get it on the NHS if your doctor will refer you. This is a thread we have on here and there have been 2 BFP's so far and it only started in march (bit long im afraid).

Lily 7 I wasn't happy with my doctor, she told me there was nothing they could do even though I hadn't had AF since going off BC 5 months earlier so I went to the family planning clinic where i saw a nurse and told her I thought I had PCOS so she said if i had time then I could wait and see a doctor that evening so i did and the doctor did blood tests and an ultrasound then and there! she confirmed I have PCOS and then booked me in to her gyno clinic at the hospital for 3 months time to start looking at my situation and treatment. So basically what i am saying is if you are not happy go and see someone else until you get to someone that is willing to work with you.

No we aren't giving up honey - just trying not to focus on making a baby and get back to having fun. My AF is still playing up and no idea where my cycles are we just needed a break from thinking about babies.

Ah that's good, I know exactly where your coming from, I think we could do with following your lead, it night help to lighten the stress. My AF still hasn't came yet either. Good luck and keep in touch x

I am in the same boat as you!, i have been ttc for 6 months have only had one AF in that time, and one obvious O, thats wasnt exactly obvious to me at the time!, it is so frustrating, i also started charting BBT but stopped since no AF, i also have friends and family asking if im pregnant yet, and my bestfriend just found out she is pregnant. It really gets to me, and no one to talk to about it does really suck!!!
